Do they always play gung ho suicidal tactics like in Ligue 1? Both Lille and PSG were crazy.... maybe I need to watch more
They really need to bring back Tuchel, it's criminal to waste Messi, Mbappe and Neymar like thatsaving Galtier’s life by Messi and Mbappe
Lille manager is a big fan of attacking football, Lille's matches are usually entretaining.Do they always play gung ho suicidal tactics like in Ligue 1? Both Lille and PSG were crazy.... maybe I need to watch more
Nobody can make that trio -I mean all 3 of them at the same time- work hard enough in the non possession phase. Coaching this PSG squad is probably one of the hardest jobs on world football currently, despite the big margin to the league rivals. They really need to bring back Tuchel, it's criminal to waste Messi, Mbappe and Neymar like that
Didn't watch the game, but apparently Campos will disagree... Timid Gaultier about Campos and him entering the zone. A matter of time for Gaultier to be sacked, I think; now that Neymar and Nuno are out, they'll give him the Bayern game and then au revoir.Nobody can make that trio -I mean all 3 of them at the same time- work hard enough in the non possession phase. Horrible twist.Did you see his ankle? Stupid comment
When they are not insulting the dead, or the moms or the gays...Toulouse v Marseille was quite tasty. Ligue 1 ain't too bad at all. Great atmospheres as well.
It definitely helps if you don't speak French. When they are not insulting the dead, or the moms or the gays...
But yes, quite entertaining football generally.
Let's say that latin countries are extremely creative in building up mom insults and express it in thousands of different ways, either directly or by using figures of speech. When they are not insulting the dead, or the moms or the gays...

Yes, but France is not a 100% latin country.Let's say that latin countries are extremely creative in building up mom insults and express it in thousands of different ways, either directly or by using figures of speech.
If we want to get very pedantic about it, the French are a germanic people who speak a largely latin language.Yes, but France is not a 100% latin country.
Marseille, Toulouse, Montpellier, Nice, Bastia, etc. Ok.
But clubs like Nantes, Rennes, Lorient Brest are very different (celtic culture), Lens and Lille are equivalent to belgian clubs, Strasbourg is as german as french, etc.
Not really. The northern part of France is largely germanic while the southern part is largely latin. The northern part historically speaks Oil languages which are germanic while the southern part speaks Oc Languages which are latin. Now the one part that isn't divided and is probably why people think that modern french are germanic is that the two main french dynasties, the Caroligian and Capetian, are Franks which are germanic people but are not even close to represent the majority of french. If we want to get very pedantic about it, the French are a germanic people who speak a largely latin language.
The visigoths did settle in Aquitaine as well tbh.Not really. The northern part of France is largely germanic while the southern part is largely latin. In habited regions and the romans also settled in Aquitaine as have many people. France is a relatively convenient country to divide because regional cultures remained strong for a long time. Half of the country is Oil(germanic) and the other half is Oc(roman). Also the Wisigoth also settled in the Iberic peninsula. The visigoths did settle in Aquitaine as well tbh.
That also happens in Spain and Portugal: a lot of people from North of Portugal/Spain consider themselves more related to Celtic Culture than to Latin Culture.Yes, but France is not a 100% latin country.

In Brittany, we (bretons) come from great britain. Our language is the equivalent of the cornish (and very similar to welsh). That also happens in Spain and Portugal: a lot of people from North of Portugal/Spain consider themselves more related to Celtic Culture than to Latin Culture.
Those who live in Portuguese islands also do not relate with how "continentals" live (fun fact: São Miguel island accent and culture was heavily influenced by french people. When the settlement was founded in the XV century, a lot of french people went to Azores to create business related with agriculture, spices and cattle).
When did Marseille last beat PSG? Hopefully they get the first goal tonight and can ride the momentum.Le Classico tonight
In the league it has been a while but very recently in the French Cup they didWhen did Marseille last beat PSG? Hopefully they get the first goal tonight and can ride the momentum.
