Fantastic show. Recently rewatched it with my son and he loved it too.

For those that don't know, Frankie Muniz is now driving in the ARCA racing series (the launching pad into NASCAR). He is doing quite well as well: Frankie Muniz - ARCA (arcaracing.com)
Christopher Masterson is the only one of the brothers who still acts. I think it'll be tough to reunite them for a full TV series - especially Erik Per Sullivan. I suppose with their ages it can be easy to just have it focused on Malcolm's family and have him written out to be living elsewhere but no Dewey would be a pity even if his character probably wouldn't work as much as he'd no longer be the cute little kid.
I guess there's also Jamie and the sixth child to call upon.
A reboot is a bad idea. The ending was perfect. It's fun to imagine how their lives turn out. Especially Malcolm and Dewey.
I saw a fun post on Reddit with some ideas about what a reboot could look like and it almost changed my mind on the matter. In this writing prompt, Dewey has become very wealthy and built a huge mansion right next to his parent's house. He lives there in secret and never reveals his identity to Hal and Louis.
