Yes I did watch that 1 single game. Cleverley didn't play well at all. There's no reason why they couldn't work together.
Yeah was just a poor show from clev, end of the day if he can ony play with players like Anderson then that's an issue he has. Carrick ha played with scholes, fletcher, Anderson and giggs very well, all with different styles. Anyway I think that Southampton game was more about clevs inexperience than anything.

Great team though I would have liked clev for scholes just so we could give him and carrick more game time together to see if they gel better. Can't imagine scholes will stand any chance of playing against pool so would have been good to see carrick and clev but oh well.

De Gea; Rafael, Evans, Vidic, Evra; Valencia, Carrick, Scholes, Nani, Kagawa; Van Persie according to Sky.

Very strong team that.
Two games in 5 days for Scholes? I guess he's not starting at anfield then

Already slating De Gea.
Every time United are on, the same things are said. Getting tiresome hearing the same old shit said about him. He's been in good form in 2012, better than most keepers in the premier league.

Fletcher being back is huge. I believe he has the sort of character that lifts all the players around him. He's obviously so mentally strong. He's come through serious injury at a young age, being horrendously scapegoated by sections of the support and then this damned ulcerative collitis. What an inspiration to see him back.

Superb! And we'll get Nani on Eboue. He is fecked...
Expect Eboue to play the game of his life - and then make the worlds biggest defensive mix-up in the 93 minute to gift us a goal.

Like a typical match from his Arsenal-days in other words

Strange game to play what is our best attacking four at this moment in time. Would have liked to see them line up against Liverpool tbh. Liverpool are there for the taking on Sunday imo.
