Red Card for Casemiro!
The why:

Green and gold.

On the pitch.

The numbers are really out there, but not a good look during Covid times. :p

This is the camera breaking they were on about.

Some banter:

They showed how NOT to do a protest.
I don't condone with damaging the cameras etc, but this is going to be a massive topic today and in the coming days. That's exactly what the point of the protest is about.

Let's all just bend over and do nothing then.
If you'd read my previous posts, I'm not against protesting against the glazers. I'm just against this specific action. This is not only harms the club and the players directly, but it is also in the middle of a pandemic where there are very real consequences.

And all this for what? To achieve feck all.

This will probably end up being called off and Liverpool being awarded the 3 points. Oh, and we'll get a massive fine.

And what type of protest would be more effective?

Match boycotts are not an option right now.
Not watching matches or buying merch isn't a great option because of the size of our fanbase.

This is too big to ignore.

Shocking. Let's all pretend there's no fecking pandemic going about and pack thousands together in a small area not wearing masks.

Yes, Covid 19 supports the 50+1 and LUHG movements, so you'll be safe.

fecking wankers. All of them.

I'll be so fecking dissapointed if we're given a loss here. It can potentially put the 2nd spot in jeopardy.

One that doesn't involve breaking and entry and vandalism.

Go protest outside the Glazer's house.

This is not the first time we've had massive protests. Not the first headline either. And all have achieved a grand total of feck all.

Many in the past, I still could support. The one today, with the covid situation and the amount of physical damage and risk to everyone involved. No.

I don't think protests can ever truly stay rational if they are to cause a furore. It's unfortunate, but that's the way emotions boil over.

Regardless of the rights and wrongs, if the game was called off it's very unlikely Liverpool would be awarded a walkover.

They would have to prove negligence on behalf of the club. Really this is a policing issue (no blame, just private security have limited authority).
Even then, remember the Bournemouth game in 2016?

Either way, and on the whole, great protest.

I was we could do this without sabotaging the team, but I guess not.

Didnt many people praise the Chelsea mob for blocking the team buses? We went a bit further and got the game delayed. Why are so many people acting squeamish all of a sudden

Naah. Just that I take vandalism and thuggery seriously. Onus was on the club to stop those thugs from entering. Did nothing and twiddled our thumbs.
The onus is on the police that seemed totally unprepared that such a crowd would be turn up.

Souness saying the Glazers have given us money to spend - dont the club’s financial accounts literally show the clubs have not given us a penny? :houllier:

It has been consistently demonstrated that large outdoor gatherings don’t lead to large outbreaks. Maybe your anger is misdirected

Because we want to watch football? Especially Man Utd beat Liverpool? Because this is all some of us live for and look forward to all week during the pandemic?
