We need a CM for sure. Also Rooney's best position is a striker now. Not no 10 anymore.

Blackett and Smalling have been good. Not enough positivity from Herrera and Fletcher imo... nothing seems to be coming off for Hernandez. Looking susceptible to counter attack too. It's just a friendly and there are lots of injuries the squad too. United will still win it though!

Unlucky effort for Rooney's penalty. Almost perfect.

Is the ref English? Seems to be giving United everything.

We're good in possession so far, when not in it though we play a bit too ragged and too aggressively.

We kept the ball well for a lot of games last season, but created feck all and eventually paid for it.

This feels pretty much the same as last year.
Van Gaal himself said it will take time and his record with other clubs seems to indicate that we should believe him.

Young looks like an accident waiting to happen defensively.

We didn't really, we pumped the ball needlessly into the box more often than not. We are showing patience, movement and composure on the ball so far in preseason.
Valencia are no LA Galaxy.

Again impressed with Blackett. Overall we've been poor in the final third and I honestly think that's Chich's fault, he is miles off suiting this system and offers no creativity or link up play.

Crerand is so biased it hurts
Its called MUTV, what the hell do you expect it to be?

What is it with people complaining about the MUTV bias, of course they are going to be biased its United's own channel ffs. Its not like Sky Sports, BBC etc don't have their own biased commentators, Alan Smith and Jamie Redknapp anyone? (okay Redknapp is a pundit, but still...)
