Can we have a poll with some price points and then send the results to Woody?
Not particularly fussed about Shaw who has shown problems under different management too. The Martial thing sucks but what can we do.That's the thing though. We gonna allow this guy to sanction sale of players with potential like Martial, Shaw, and leave us with s*it like Lindelof, and this guy.
Seconded.Sell Martial buy Arnautovic sack Fergie kill me
Woodward cant allow it surely. Next thing we will be selling Pogba and signing NobleNot particularly fussed about Shaw who has shown problems under different management too. The Martial thing sucks but what can we do.
Jose is simply too short sighted to be a long term manager. It has never happened anywhere else and I really can't see it here either.
That's entering into dangerous territory though.Woodward cant allow it surely. Next thing we will be selling Pogba and signing Noble
Maybe there's a Mozart gig onSo Jose has personally gone to Austria to watch a player who has played in the EPL for 5 years and has played against Jose’s teams 10+ times. Are we supposed to believe that he’s going to make a £50m() decision based on how he plays against Russia?
True, but bearing in mind some of his signings havent been successful, it would have to be done for the sake and the future of the club. This is a manager who usually self destructs by the 3rd season anyway, who sets Manchester United up not to concede and lose games. Ridiculous, if we sign this guy then we are accepting we are cr*pThat's entering into dangerous territory though.
Dictating to a manager what he can or cannot do. Especially if you are then going to judge them on results.
Not a fan of this signing but once a month is better than what Lingard and Mata are producing just now.Interesting target. I've said before to me he's a 1 in 5 player, same with Shaqiri. Plays amazing/scores a wonder goal then you don't see him for the rest of the month.
I'm not really sure he's effective as a central striker either, he was better at Stoke playing a wide position and you obviously have Alexis, Martial and Rashford for those positions plus Bale of course....(been reading too much Redcafe).
Don't know why Mourinho has to go and scout him, he's probably seen him about a hundred times in the premier league and indeed coached him for a bit at Inter so he surely knows all Aranutovic's strengths and weaknesses.
For that sort of price you might aswell stick another 20m and be in for Lewandowski.
No, he has been wearing same clothes since FA Cup final.Has he changed his clothing from when @VP89 saw him with the ice cream? I remember he wore same cap, same watch, and using the same phone...
Must be.This is a joke, isn't it? Please tell me it's a wind up!
He's doing the exact same pose. He must be permanently stuck like thatHas he changed his clothing from when @VP89 saw him with the ice cream? I remember he wore same cap, same watch, and using the same phone...
You allow a manager to make his own decisions though or fire him if you don't believe he can make the right decisions.True, but bearing in mind some of his signings havent been successful, it would have to be done for the sake and the future of the club. This is a manager who usually self destructs by the 3rd season anyway, who sets Manchester United up not to concede and lose games. Ridiculous, if we sign this guy then we are accepting we are cr*p
I doubt it is.This is a joke, isn't it? Please tell me it's a wind up!
I agree 100% with you. If I was the CEO I would have fired him. Honestly, not because he didnt deliver any trophies, but because the standard and the style of performances is not acceptable. In addition I would have turned to Enrique, whom with the likes of Lukaku, Martial, Sanchez, Pogba, Mata and Rashford at his disposal would have taken us to a higher levelYou allow a manager to make his own decisions though or fire him if you don't believe he can make the right decisions.
That seems only fair to me.
You know, we have a manager who signed Steve Sidwell, Khalid Boulharouz, Falcao even though he was crap for us, among other wonderful signings, Why should we be surprised? This is depressing news if true. Sky are reporting it too. How can we be contenders for anything with dross like Arnatovic!!
This cracked me more than it should.I think this is Jose's last Summer with us anyway, so this will probably be his Fellaini parting gift like Moyes.
He'd actually start in our teamNot a fan of this signing but once a month is better than what Lingard and Mata are producing just now.
Indeed. He is completely useless in the air and regularly gets dominated by players half his size (probably because he mostly looks like he doesn't care). Not sure he is the physical presence up front that Mourinho apparently wants as cover for Lukaku. You buy Giroud for his great ability on headers and scoring important goals, the player you throw in after 80 minutes to get the equalizer. Arnautovic has never shown anything like that in his entire career. He scores from 40 yards in one game, then he goes silent for ten games and then he kicks or elbows someone.

Agree with you on all but the very last line. I'm partial to Martial and think he has more potential than Arnautovic ever showed at the same age. In any case, they both bring in very different skill sets .Arnautovic is a far better player than some fans on here think he is.
Was impressed with him at Werder Bremen and was highly surprised to see him at Stoke thereafter.
The main reason, in my opinion, that Stoke got relegated is because they lost Arnautovic.
I don't get the love for Martial in this thread also. What's he done all season?
Arnautovic is a better player.
He had a white Adidas t shirt on when I saw him on the weekend. The kind you wear when you hit up JD Sports and see a clearance sale.Has he changed his clothing from when @VP89 saw him with the ice cream? I remember he wore same cap, same watch, and using the same phone...
If they were well hidden, how does anyone know where they turned?“Mourinho's (well hidden) eyes were also turned towards two players of the Russian national team: Aleksandr Golovin of CSKA Moscow and Fëdor Smolov, Krasnodar striker.’’
