Just read he bagged 60+ goals last season for Zaragoza's youth squad.

We've only just announced we have reached an agreement with Zaragoza, so I assume he's been waiting for clearance?

He's had 2 ankle injuries but was in the bench for a couple of games for the u18s in between after getting his clearance in September. I've no idea how long he'll be out for though

Unless i misunderstood the news, it was about the compensation for the players signature, rather than the availability of him.
 
Hopefully he's fit to start against Norwich! We're desperate for anyone with a pulse and a pair of football boots to help out in attack.

Just kidding of course ... or am I?

Yeah that makes more sense. I assumed maybe he couldn't play before that point but as the others say he's had injury problems.
 
Makes his debut as U18 face Brighton in the PL Cup. Kickoff in 5 minutes, live on MUTV. Judging by the number 9 on his back, he'll start up front.
 
Stretchered off just before HT, looks like a nasty injury. :( Leg in a brace and receiving oxygen.
 
Bloody hell.. what happened? Bad tackle? Or did he twist something?
 
Absolutely gutted for the lad. Hope it ain’t nothing majorly serious but it didn’t look nice. :(

Denham, Gallagher-Allison, Dodgson, Savage & Mejia all played after having injuries recently enough, Hardley came on but went back off injured. 5/6 under 15s played as well

Forgot about this lad. We really do sign a lot of foreigners for a club that only signs Brits.
 
This lad seems to know where the goal is, doesn't he? Be nice to have a goal machine coming through the ranks.
 
Considering we lost Odubeko to West Ham, hopefully Mejia can fill that spot and force his way up the ranks. They were very upset to lose him in Spain
 
He scored again for the u17s in a 3-1 win against Tranmere the other night

He has played for the U18 as well so plenty has seen him. I'm sure jb knows better though.

I have not seen enough to build an understanding of how prolific he is. But he looks exciting...
