That's perfect
That annoyed me, as he gave one against Smalling at St.James’ Park, but then I was seeing everyone get away with the same thing the following weeks. The only think I like about him is he doesn’t take shit off the players. He never lets them in control or bully him into decisions. But he can be very inconsistent as a ref. I remember when he was giving penalties galore at a start of a season for grabbing and then stopped.
Ha ha - agree! I am liking him and his passionI think he's hilarious. Give me an entertaining ref and I'll take it 10/10.
Do we know who's reffing the Liverpool match next week?He has overtaken Atkinson as the ref I least want officiating a United game
Same here, not the greatest ref in the world but far from the worst either, loves a penalty too much (99 red cards is probably about right considering he's been reffing since about 2000) and he also has personality/ego for the big games, bit like Graham Poll a while back.I like him. He just loves football, and clearly does his absolute best. What's not to like? Life's too short.
Some European ref.Do we know who's reffing the Liverpool match next week?
He also literally celebrated Spurs scoring against us.Arsenal fans despise him btw, he's like Atkinson is when he refs your games, always giving penalties against them and they have a poor record when he refs their games.
I was actually at that West Brom game when he gave that phantom handball against Chambers in 89th minute.
He probably gets his wife to record the game and watch his highlights
According to the Sun (sorry, that was the only source I could find) it's Tranmere Rovers.Same here, not the greatest ref in the world but far from the worst either, loves a penalty too much (99 red cards is probably about right considering he's been reffing since about 2000) and he also has personality/ego for the big games, bit like Graham Poll a while back.
Who does he actually support? He's from the Wirral so guessing one of Liverpool/Everton.
All refs always say lower teams so it dosen't reduce their chances of taking charge of as many premier league games as possible.According to the Sun (sorry, that was the only source I could find) it's Tranmere Rovers.

I don’t know. Maybe we watch the premier league a lot more than the rest of European league that we think our refs are the worst. But that ref from the PSG game was far worse than any ref I seen in the premier league this season.Him and John Moss are fighting for biggest cnut for me, the premier league might be the best league in the world but it must have the worst ref's in Europe. Really needs a massive clear out.
That is true. That was bananas. I think the refs were absolutely horrible last season and the season before but they haven't been as bad this season.I don’t know. Maybe we watch the premier league a lot more than the rest of European league that we think our refs are the worst. But that ref from the PSG game was far worse than any ref I seen in the premier league this season.

We can only pray for such wondersWatch when Tranmere win the playoff final, Dean will be doing the 'John Terry Full Kit' 2012 celebration
But he had a flawless game to be fair. Very very good tonight. He just loves the attention. I'm sure he gave the yellow for diving just for the adrenaline rush. And the way he almost celebrated giving that final goal kick
Totally agree. A Sheff United player did a lame dive in the box about 5 minutes before. Felt to me like he wanted to teach the naughty young man a lesson in manners. He just loves the attention. I'm sure he gave the yellow for diving just for the adrenaline rush. And the way he almost celebrated giving that final goal kick
I thought it was weird that he was telling Arsenal players off for time wasting when they were already losing and rushing every set piece they had.
