Unfortunately, as Ajax, we've had the misfortune of being his cnutiness training field. He started with us, taking our players to Italy in the 90s. Then came back in the early 2000s
The squad of Ibrahimovic, Van der Vaart, Maxwell, Grygera was dismantled by him
He had Zlatan intentionally injure Van der Vaart in a Sweden - Netherlands friendly, to force a cut-rate sale of Ibra right before the end of the summer transfer window, because they had to choose between him and Van der Vaart. Van der Vaart who actually lost a bit of pace around then, can't remember if it was that injury or another though. Never recovered form for us and went out the backdoor.
When Ajax were about to sell Maxwell, managed by Raiola, to an Italian club, he tore . his knee. Seeing the deal to sell Maxwell for millions collapse, Ajax instead helped him recover, paying his salary. They then offered him a new contract while he was recovering recovered, to show good faith or something. After months of recovery, Maxwell turned down that offer with just months left on his contract and told Ajax "Either you release me from my 6 months of contract so I can move for free to Inter now, or you pay me for another 6 months and I leave for free then anyway"
He also did something similar with Grygera, taking him out the backdoor to Juve. After which he was banned from the club until Martin Jol brought him back in. Since then he's been taking our top talents out the backdoor again (Bouy, Kishna, Tete, now probably Kluivert)
