In all competitions this would be our 8th loss in around two months. For Manchester United that is not acceptable.

David Moyes is implementing some sort of retardo version of Sir Alex's tactics. Its not working at all and he has no clue how to utilize the stars and attacking power in this team. No clue.

Hes not going to get the boot and even no after the top 4 has gone he'll just write this season off. Hes never going to leave because this is his only shot at a top club, and SAF isnt going to sack him
Fergie has forgot more about football than I've ever known. If we can all see just how clueless Moyes is then surely he can as well. Does that mean he'll get the boot? who knows. He really should do though.

I spoke extensively around September about there needing to be some level by which to assess what will be unacceptable for Moyes thus season, and a concern at all the comments pointing towards him having a 'free pass' this season in the name of transition.

If we lose today, it would confirm to me that there is no possible scenario by where Moyes could be sacked this season. He has shown absolutely no progress, there is nothing he has done right, so basically - he is working without fear of judgement. Luckiest employee in the world in that case.
sounds about right if things carry on as such.

HELLO
This isn't a lack of top quality players, or a midfield, or whatever other player related claim people like to make. This is plain and simply a manager out of his depth, who doesn't have the tactical nous to break down teams that are happy to setup for a point. He wasn't familiar to opponents playing like this at Everton, and doesn't seem to know how to deal with it here.

I honestly think Giggs would command more respect and set us better up tactically than Moyes. You wouldn't need much of an imagination to get this team playing better football.

Don't see the point of sacking him now. I've backed him to the hilt... But this is ridiculous. If we stay in 7th.. he should go at the end of the year.

Why would any top player watching this want to join Man Utd? Genuine question. You see the likes of Mata and Van Persie aimlessly running around after balls going over your head, would you as a Champions League level player wanna play for Moyes?

We can moan all we want here, but he won't be sacked.
Wouldn't be so sure....

This idea we don't do that is built on not sacking SAF. Look at our track record after Busby and you will see that this club very much took action early.

Do you think SAF (of all people) would admit hes wrong and SACK a manager? The first part he may hold his hands up but when hes spent a entire lifetime talking about how not giving managers time is a travesty i doubt he'll sack one 7 months into the job

Amongst footballing managerial 'Gods'
I do not expect Sir Alex foresaw our current standing when he stated that "we should stand by our manager." I would not mind Europa League football for one season, but question should be ask towards whether Moyes philosophy is the right way forward for United. Is a future of consistent crosses and no intricasy the right one? Our football was not much better under Sir Alex Ferguson, but with the players we have in Kagawa, Van Persie, Welbeck, Mata, Januzaj, etc., our football should be much better.

Nevertheless, it took Brendon Rodgers awhile to shape Liverpool towards his image and I expect no difference with Moyes. He has shown glimpse of a Mourinho esque(conservative gameplan) tenet that emphasis high work ethic against tougher opposition. So despite our football not being attractive, in the future it can be as effective as Mourinho with Chelsea.

The longer he stays the longer it takes us to get back to the top or near the top of European football.

He has to go. There has been no progression or improvement in our play since the beginning of the season. All we do is cross aimlessly, it's failed but Moyes does not change. I like his ideas of improving the squad, we have been linked with the right type of players. But, I do not trust him to utilise those players effectively considering his tactics are so dour and clueless.

We should admit it was a mistake appointing him and move on.

The words I think of when I see his face are "feck off, twat, useless, inept, etc."
Can't stand his face anymore, it's gotten that bad.

He doesn't get to make that decision. He is just one director.

Big half this will be for Moyes. I still don't think he will be sacked if we lose or draw but anything other than a win against Fulham at home will have an awful lot more fans feeling disillusioned

I honestly believe that if we had Ronaldo and Messi in the team today we would still be 0-1 down and put in 46 crosses in 45 minutes.

I can't believe we had 46 fecking crosses in a half. Moyes is truly hopeless. I can just imagine the dresseing room tactics:

"OK lads, today we're gonna try something new!"
"Your mum instead of your daughter?"
"Shut up Evra! No, today, we're gonna attack!"
"Attack? As in not lie back and pray for me or Robin to score?"
"Yes, that's exactly right, Wayne! You are very clever today!"
"Heh, he said I was clever!"
"OK, so what we're gonna do, is to push them back! We're even gonna expose ourselves defensively in the process! I want to see both Carrick AND Fletcher so far up the pitch that they actually might risk scoring goals!"
"Wow, this sounds awfully entertaining and risky, Moyes! This is why I left Chelsea!"
"Hehe, thanks Juan... Anyways, once they have their back against the wall, that's when we start: POUND THE FECKING CROSSES IN! EVERY ATTACK SHOULD COME THROUGH A CROSS! GOT IT?!"

*everyone sighs*

46 crosses. Ladies and gentleman that is how rubbish Moyes 4-4-2 is. For the 2nd week in a row a rubbish midfielder scores against after going past our midfield unchecked.

Moyes is a park the bus specialist.....its all he knows...he hasn't been able to evolve into an attack minded manager in his 7 or 8 months here and he needs to go because of it.....get pottechino in on a short term contract to see what he can do with this bunch
