If he comes back LVG is going to shackle his creativity, same as rest of our attacking players, just passing ball around aimlessly in middle of the pitch

Only talking about competitive fixtures, I believe it is 3 goals vs Chelsea, 4 vs Spurs, 3 vs City, 1 vs Pool, 3 vs Arsenal & 2 vs Bayern. Definitely a big-game player. That's more than half of all his goals for us, if I am correct? It says a lot about him.

How we could do with him right now..

Forgot about this one vs Chelsea, the first tough here was class, I can only remember one vs Arsenal at the Emirates?

Devastating with the ability to shoot well with this left foot cutting in from the right. Makes him unpredictable as feck.

I'm not sure I understand your response. My point is Di Maria's just as inconsistent as Nani ever was, and Nani was putting up the numbers for fun when given a run. So basically, yes, I'd have Nani in my team every day of the week. I'd take his combination of quality and frustration over the garbage we're watching at the moment any day...
It was not meant as a criticism, in fact I agree with you completely.

Happy to see Nani still doing well, I want him back ASAP! Lets look at the bright side, we'll have him back to win us some tight games in the CL next season :D.

Pleased he is doing well. Always rated him as a player, it's just his inconsistency that was frustrating. Will be interesting to see what happens with him.

Amazing goal, that Chelsea one . Shame how that game ended...

He did indeed score 3 goals versus Arsenal.

All three lovely. The first was from a different planet, however.

He says Old Trafford is his home. He's built his confidence right back up. Lets welcome him back with open arms in the summer. With have missed his ability to win games out of nowhere.

Some serious change of heart from Redcafe.
No surprise there.

I've always been a fan of Nani, but when we had him in the team we still wanted better wingers. How times have changed.

He's also a massive pansy. But at least he's passionate

Great goal, but you dont get that kind of space in the prem. Look at how that midfielder just slows down and lets him have a shot! Ridiculous. Still, haven't seen Januzaj do anything like that this season so who knows, maybe he'll be back after all.
Aye, Coutinho had no space for his shot yesterday...

I'd take him back. If we're going to play with wide men again we'd be silly not to. But then I've always liked Nani and wanted him to stay in the summer, so nothing has changed.

He was sent out on loan to showcase his talents. He's in the shop window.

Everyone wants him back. But if he actually came back it would be a month or two before everyone wanted him out again.

He was dreadful here for the last couple of seasons at least. We shouldn't now remember him as some sort of great just because he is doing well there and our players are under performing. If Nani was here this season, I highly doubt he'd have made a bit of a difference.

Not true. Nani's already stated on a couple of occasions that Van Gaal wanted him to stay, but he chose to leave. Ultimately, it was the right decision.

We need to move on, Nani has always been a good player, but the impatience with which United fans judged him compared to his mates was ridiculous at times, he's the only player we had that dared not miss a pass, dribble or cross. We've replaced him, with someone that cost triple, who isn't doing much better, I think it will be best for both parties to part ways at the end of the season.

Players often become more consistent as they age, though the downside is obviously that they lose some of their physical prowess.

I've no idea if Nani has actually turned a corner or not but if he can stay fit, he's worth adding to the squad. If he's still shit when he gets back to Manchester, sell him to someone who's desperate in January.
