201 goals in 332 matches at the age of 23. Impressive. Not so long ago it was debated whether Neymar or Hazard was better but Neymar is clearly the superior player.
Immense player, will surely become the best in the world once Messi and Ronaldo slow down. 36 goals in 46 games for Barcelona in the calendar year, plus he's now adding more assists to his game too.
The problem for him is, I can see Messi & Ronaldo going strong for another 2-3 years at least....that's a long time in football. But yeah, scary good.
He was carrying a Brazil side under such pressure at age 20. From that moment, I knew he was special.

Yeah, Messi is still only 28 so you'd think he won't 'drop off' for a good 3 years at least. Even then, Neymar will only be around 26/27 so at that point if he continues on this upward trajectory and avoids doing a Ronaldinho or serious injury he'll be tough to overlook.

Surely he's now better then Bale.
He's just a joy to watch. Bringing back the Ronaldinho days with his skills and trickery. He also cut off on a lot of his selfishness this season, been creating lots of chances and already has plenty of assists. His link ups with Suarez have developed too.

Maybe far fetched, but I think he has surpassed Ronaldo as the 2nd best player in the world. He has really stepped up since Messi's been injured.

He's above the likes of Bale but below Messi and Ronaldo, but there's no reason he can't push on and enter their bracket.
The perfect storm for Woodward would be if Neymar's form drops when Messi comes back. MARCA would start headlines that Messi hurts Neymar's performance, Neymar is unhappy, Barça needs money etc etc etc and maybe he can leave.

Messi's impact will be difficult to come close to in our lifetime. Neymar is a level below but it won't keep him from being the world's best for years to come, if he continues to grow and avoid imploding like many Brazilians before him

Imagine his stats if Messi wasn't in the team and it wasn't built around him. He'd probably easily get another 15-20 goals on top of that.
Having Neymar, Suarez and Messi up front is downright cheating. The rest of their team isn't even all that but that three together against any side is going to cause havoc.
It's laughable that people think that just because of these couple of months he's already better than Manchester United captain who has carried this team for years and has been incredible for us. Rooney is still well ahead of Neymar, it's not even close.
Neymar has a long long way to go yet. Good luck to him in trying though.
I think in a way, they make each other better. They have an understanding that few players do have, and the skills to back it up.
