It’s a great deal for Chicago. Loads of picks and addresses a need before free agency and the draft.

Somebody is going to get really good value with Hendon Hooker.

A win for the Bears (...and Lovie Smith) with them getting an exceptional WR for Fields. If Fields flops this year with better passing option weapons then the Bears will have the draft capital from this trade to move up next year and take a QB if need be. Smart from them.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see the Bears make more moves, they are still low on picks and overall roster qualify.

Guess this explains why the Panthers were out on Jackson too.

If you count DJM as a 1st, and you sort of can in a way because there's like one WR that might have been drafted ahead of him this year, 3 1sts and 2 2nds sets a hell of a precedent for someone to move up for Caleb Williams next year.

If you haven't heard of him, he'll be rolling in with TLaw/Tank for Tua hype and it will be justified.

The other guys were club runners, so the distance to them isn't all that. However the time is really impressive, in that its only 0.36 seconds away from the world record. Probably only 10 or so guys in the UK ran the 60 metres faster than that this year and none of them got under 6.50.

Not sure if Hunter Long ever made10 catches in Miami. Even with Gesicki leaving very content with the trade compensation!

Poor Buffalo. Another couple of interceptions each year for Josh Allen.

Parker for Ramsey is a most excellent trade.

After much off-season hype I don't remember hearing much about Parker last season.

A steal for the Dolphins that, can't believe there weren't more teams interested at that price. Or maybe he just wanted low taxes and sunny weather of course.

Also am thinking that the Texans are in a rather peculiar position at the moment with the rumours of the Panthers wanting to trade down again. If the Panthers are sold on CJ Stroud or AR, it would make sense to do something like trade back to #3 after the Cards have traded back as well and they likely just get their pick of whichever players falls to them. But if the Texans are sold on Young and someone jumps them to take the Panthers' place on top, they might be stuck with the #2 QB on their board. They really gotta hope the Panthers stay in #1 so they have a free shot at Young at #2.

Should be some insane positional value available if Young, Stroud, Richardson and Levis all go ~top 7. Seattle and the Lions are the golden picks at #5 and #6 right now imo, they could have Anderson, Carter, Wilson, Skoronski,... all available to them. And the Eagles at #10 will also be adding a very good player in the trenches or someone like Witherspoon, to an already SB-caliber roster. Crazy.

Absolutely one of the more interesting drafts for a long time, a QB run early should mean a lot of the better prospects dropping and we could see a lot of trade action day 1.

The noise is that they'll have a few more picks to play with to move up because they'll be shipping their LT Laremy Tunsil to the Chiefs (statistically one of the best pass blockers in the NFL last year) for a few picks. Although if this did happen you have got to feel for the QB they are drafting

Big movement day. Not the greatest FA class but fun nonetheless.

How has Richardson gone from doing absolutely nothing noteworthy at Florida to possibly being the first pick???

Is he going to be one of those guys that fits better in the NFL than the NCAA level?

He's shown nothing that I've seen to suggest he'd even be in the NFL QB discussion.

Everyone wants the next Josh Allen. Whoever drafts Richardson high will be making as big a mistake as the Niners did with Lance.

Hargrave was immense for the Eagles. Really annoyed that he has gone to the Niners
Damn, I just read that. 84m over 4 years though, can't blame him. Eagles with all their dead cap piling up this year could never match that.

I hope they find away to bring back at least one of Bradberry or Gardner Johnson.

Jason Kelce has just confirmed he's back for another season though.

But Josh Allen was really good at Wyoming for the right reasons, but just that people didn't take him as seriously because he's at a 'weaker conference' and he didn't physically test exceedingly well compared to Richardson. If you're drafting high and getting a raw QB like Richardson, he's extremely raw, gonna have to sit him at least one full season and hope the team around him is solid...but typically they aren't if you're drafting so high and not making moves in FA.

It will just be a waste of a pick like the Lance pick & the Willis pick, potentially even more so. It’s amazing how tunnel visioned player personnel people can get, here we have less than quality on tape for his one year at UF, but all they appear to be focusing on now are his measurable at the combine.

People have fallen in love with his physical tools.

His throwing mechanics need major work, though.

I’m no expert on the attributes of o-linemen but it’s good to see moves being made and I have to assume these guys are upgrades.

Also quite amazing how you are dismissing Lance after he hasn’t even gotten a true chance to show what he’s worth in the NFL.

Not sure what to make of this one. He's a good player but we are paying 60m guaranteed for guy who plays RT to be our new LT and replace Orlando Brown Jr...unless we're getting a LT too.

Shooting for AR makes way more sense than signing up for three more years of absolute mediocrity by signing Jimmy G to a deal. Literally throwing money and seasons away since you won’t get anywhere near competing with him. You need to swing for a franchise QB every season until you get him.

The cameos he’s had have been horrific. Dude just ain’t gonna cut it. Not his fault he was taken so high & the draft picks that had to have been given up.

It’s okay, not everyone makes it in the NFL.
