A number of teams are making enquiries about DeSean Jackson, apparently the 49'ers and the Patriots have both asked about him according to ESPN. ESPN also saying the Eagles may be interested in a 3rd round pick for him.

He's a quality receiver. I thought when I saw it first off that they were shipping LeSean McCoy out and got pretty excited!
Not sure how the Patriots would have the cap space to pull of a deal for Jackson. Releasing Wilfork would free up some room, along with Adrian Wilson perhaps.
What they really need is some quality cover for Jones and Ninkovich- they played over 90% of the defensive snaps last year and by the end of the season they looked dead on their feet.

Nah. Browner is a really good player but he turns like a train and that got him burned a few times. His replacement(s) have played pretty well and have more of the ball hawking instinct Pete Carroll likes in DBs, plus all of the physicality Browner brings too.

The club had several successful stinks, a couple of AFL championships, a decent team in the mid 70's during the OJ era, a couple of playoff teams in the early 80's and of course the 4 straight Super Bowl appearances that ended sadly each time for Bills fans. The team will undoubtably go up for sale. Former Bills great Jim Kelly will probably lead an effort to buy the team, but it could finally be a chance for the NFL to get a team in Canada (Toronto). Los Angeles could be another destination.

Another nail in the coffin for the city? My brother goes to UB, and it is depressing how derelict major sections of Buffalo are.
About an hour or so from Buffalo, a large part of the game day fan base is from the Rochester area, so people are really worried about what is going to happen next. The Bills and Sabres are about all Buffalo has going for it right now and it is the Bills that are really tied to the cities identity so would be a huge blow.
Despite living in relative close proximity to the Buffalo Bills I have never been a fan of theirs, somehow ended up being a Miami Dolphins fan from the age of 5 or 6. So this is not some fan worship leading me to keep posting about Ralph Wilson, but I strongly suggest you read Peter King's piece on Ralph.

Good news for the Bills in Buffalo, the current lease provides for no buyout clause until after the 2019 season and even that it is $400mil dollars. Though not sure if there are other clauses that could lead to the cancellation of the lease or if any legal challenges could void the lease.

Now from one standpoint I am against state funding because the NFL makes a crap load of cash and the state is already one of the highest taxed and has better things to spend the cash on. But the reality is that if we want an NFL team in Buffalo the taxpayers will foot a big part of the bill.
So this lease gives the club and government time to make a new stadium happen.

We won't even look at him unless he was to agree to sign a low risk deal for us which he wont. Even at that I would be surprised if Kraft or Bill has any interest in him at all now.
