He's on 170k a week and has a contract till Jan 2022
I doubt it the chinese club would loan him to us for a full season

I cannot shrug the feeling that had he started alongside Bruno we would have seen better link up play, more goal threats and more dominant display. Bruno will find you if you link up well with him and on handful of occasions, both Martial and James were guilty of not knowing when to pass to him and continue with their run.

His game was like Berba, playing at his own pace and making defenders look like lower level players.

The coldness and composure from this man to play the ball in the last 10 minutes when we were under pressure. Amazing.

He showed a lot of composure and experience when he came on. Held the ball up well and brought others into play, which is exactly what we needed with amount of pressure we were under.

How can you not love this guy! What a cameo! Came on and didnt exactly what we needed him to do. His hold up play was first class. Love him!

His holdup play is very impressive. After two years of having the donkey up front it feels surreal seeing a big Manchester United striker hold up the ball with ease.

Hold up play was absolutely fantastic. Imagine what he can provide when he's up to match fitness in a week or two.

Exactly, it shows how bad Lukaku's first touch and hold up play is.

If he keeps this up we should 100% keep him if we can. Exactly what we need as a depth option up top. So composed, such a brilliant physical presence but he combines it with very good technique.

Amazingly, Ighalo for me was a crucial part of the Ole plan in wining this game. Yes he comes on for 5 minutes, but he held the ball up 4-5 times and created the build up to the 2nd goal which wins us the game.

Excellent from Ighalo. He could have 3 more years here as an impact player. Sign him up.

Incredible cameo, like the complete opposite of the Jesse Lingard cameo special. Think we probably should have brought him on sooner.

I thought he should have come on sooner to help us get out, but he did very well when he did come on. We bullied City's defenders today and hopefully that can continue.

WTF why can't we give him a player rating?

His best cameo thus far

When Martial was off, he should have came on. We didn't have anyone to hold the ball, so they kept coming back at us. Once he was on, he did really well to hold the ball.

Very good cameo and has been a great addition to the squad so far. He would be a good permanent buy if he stays on this trajectory and gets into full fitness for the league.

People have probably said it already but that touch from the goal kick was quality.
He’s not at all the kind of player I thought we were getting, he’s actually really decent.

His touch is so so good. The way he killed the goal kicks with defender at his back was unreal.

Was like ball magnet when he came on. Seems to always be at the right place to hold up the ball.

Sooner?
We won
I think all he is saying is that we would have had more control in the final 10 minutes if he had come on a bit earlier. Think Ole wanted to do this but when Shaw got hurt he probably waited to see if Shaw could continue.

Could be the key to helping unlock those defences that are stubborn, a genuine option with his back to the defence, a wall we can use!

Great signing!
