Great to see him in the thick of the Maguire goal celebrations. He's going to be a great option for us. Something totally different to what we have.

For the little time he was on, he has managed to raise my expectations towards him. I feel excited about seeing more.

And missing his big chance while up by 2 goals in the closing minutes can be forgiven. Knowing the Caf I don‘t want to imagine the abuse he‘d have received if that miss had cost us a point or two.

Based upon nothing but his first, very short impression, I think he‘ll do well for us.

Even if he is average, its a loan, an extra body and we needed a further striking option. Like so many other things we didnt do...a striker should have been signed in the summer, big mistake we didnt. Think Greenwood long term is the perfect option, but despite some good performances and goals, he is ready yet to step up to be our first choice striker and Martial is just too inconsistent to be either

Great to see him get stuck in with the celebrations and was unlucky/should have scored.

Been a while since I've seen someone get so involved after coming on in the 91st minute... and all pretty much positive contributions too, so fair fecks to him.

He had more touches of the ball then Andreas did, who had 12 more minutes on the pitch.

Was dying for him to score, and gutted for him when that chance didn't go in. He gives us a different option to Martial as he can hold up the ball, something Martial really cannot.

Was a shame he didn't score that chance, what a start that would have been and would have silenced a few doubters (of which I'm one). He looked lively enough in the few minutes he came on, enough to suggest that he could cause opponents problems as an option off the bench. I'm sure he'll be decent in against weaker opposition too and I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him start on Thursday.

Considering he's not played a game for a few months and hasn't had much training with the team over the last two, he didn't look massively off the pace. Hopefully he gets more game time on Thursday and bags a goal.

He'll be good for us and won't be surprised if he's signed at the end of the season.
I will be.

He’s alright for 3-4 months, but we need a Lukaku replacement. Someone we can realistically expect 25 goals plus from. Accepting Ighalo permanently is just accepting the bare minimum.

Actually no, come to think of it I wouldn’t be surprised either

100% expected him to miss I've watched too much of him with Nigeria he will score about 1in 5 good chances. But luckily he is good at finding space.

He looked really out of shape.
How can you get this opinion? He bodied Rudiger a 6'4 brick shithouse, he sped in behind a Chelsea back line of athletes.

He had about 4 minutes on the pitch, how on earth can you gather he looks out of shape? this forum is mental.

He looks like he could lead the line well. Strong, good technique and quick too.

It’s not as if he’s never played in the PL before

A mate at work is a Watford fan, they have very good reviews on him.

One thing I was told to watch out for is his scoop, apparently he has the ability to scoop defenders for fun.

So we’d be replacing Martial then? I don’t see a 25 goals a season striker would be willing to be sat on the bench a lot at United.
Ole has his striker and Greenwood needs to develop, so I’d imagine we’re looking for an able stand in, not a nailed on starter.

I really liked what I saw, his technique is much better than I expected, as a lot of people were questioning if he is good enough.

It's like people want to stand out so they spout the most obscene crap they can to get noticed or something.

Either that, or they genuinely don't know what they're watching. Everybody has their own opinion but it's not like he stank up the place or looked like Falcao on his ass every 2 minutes.
