This is a slow death of the manager and club, we as fans need to step back and start looking after ourselves because this ship is not going anywhere soon. A deep change process needs to happen and that will take along time.

More drivel in his press conference. Had a good week, been working hard to put things certain right (doesn’t actually say what), the coaches are great, Lingard will play his part, we’re ready for Watford, we’ve had bad periods before so no big deal.

Could’ve recorded that before the break and nobody would know any different. Such a pointless exercise.

Imagine expecting anything of note or interest in a pre-match press conference.
I’d expect some kind of acceptance that he is in a crisis. It seems him and the club have just hoped that the two week break will have allowed folks to mellow. Back to back humiliations against Liverpool and City? No big deal.

It was either Ole or Potter who spent a night on the street recently to raise awareness for the homeless. I can’t remember which, I think it was Potter.

Ole deserves a lot of credit for that

I don't know why anyone would want to watch his press conferences. Guy has to be one of the most boring managers to ever listen to.

Boring quotes, boring answers, zero charisma in front of the camera.

Meanwhile I can hear the likes of Pep talking all day no problem.

Is getting a result against Watford considered to be a progress? They are not going to sack him anytime soon, are they?

It’s like watching a really rubbish movie, you watch it because it’s so dumb, so plotless, it actually makes it good to watch just to see how rubbish it can get

Lucky he didn’t stay on at Cardiff… bottom of the Championship, spent an extra £50m on the £50m he spent the year before “we’ve been relegated before so no big deal”

Only read the quotes but sounded fairly defeated in his press conference, very much a case of going through the motions.

If he’s survived a 5-0 drubbing and an absolutely spineless 2-0 against city because we beat a shite spurs team and clinched a 2-2 draw in Italy, then it seems he can do no wrong.

Maybe he's hoping the work the International managers have put in with our players in the last week or so will bear some fruit on the weekend.

Even at the lowest of lows, you’d expect something interesting and out of the ordinary from a press conference.

But it’s still same old scripted, rehearsed answers to undoubtedly vetted questions from handpicked journalists.

Dunno how you can work hard on things when you’ve been on holiday for the most of it but there you go… That’s our Ole! *sitcom music sting*

People seem to think think this is life and death and forget that Ole is a real human being that has worked his arse off trying to get this right. It was working out until recently and maybe he has taken us as far as he can but the abuse he gets and criticism is totally out of proportion and typical of people who have never met him and will never have to account for their comments face to face with him. Keyboard Whinger Warriors!
It might have been easier to agree if I've seen anyone giving a feck about Mourinho, LVG and Moyes being human previously.

I think you may have done a typo on your username :)
I think you may need to ask your mom for some money because no one in serious employment thinks fecking off for 9 days when he's been embarrassed time and again is a good idea.

Frankly, some of the drivel you've spouted to justify this guy's escapede in the middle of a crisis is pathetic.

" We can do better, should do better and it's down to performances on the day, human beings, sometimes you hit the post and it goes out, sometimes it goes in, that can affect the mood, atmosphere. We've got to focus on getting the start right." "

What is he even saying here? Our board are blind fools for not identifying he has no clue way earlier.

They are all human beings and the abuse they received was just as bad. What makes it even worse is Ole is one of us, a hero. Doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be sacked in this role but the abuse is just out of proportion and I am pretty sure a lot of what people post no here, they wouldn’t want their own children to be reading about them.

My mum is dead but if she wasn’t, I wouldn’t be asking her for any money, I haven’t done that since the 1980s.

You are entitled to think I am pathetic, I am entitled to disagree and Ole is entitled to go on holiday with his wife and kids.

Seen the presser video.
His body language & general demeanour looks like a man whose lost hope and is out of ideas. I think most likely he knows he’s just a placeholder until the club gets in a new manager.

If it was within my holiday allowance (I presume they have a holiday allowance) and already approved any company I work for can feck off if they think I'm cancelling my trip.

yeah at this point the more he opens his mouth the more you realize how tactically inept he is. You dont expect him to give away too much for opposing managers to key in on but holy hell he pretty much never has anything of value to say.

These press conferences with Ole will continue to just be a dead rubber. Everyone knows he is going at some point. He's a nice bloke so people don't want to twist the knife. I'd suggest the social media managers at United just offer up this as an image for future press conferences until a new manager is in post.

Is he saying we’ve been unlucky? Is he saying we are fecked if we don’t score first? I don’t even get what he’s trying to prove with a comment like that.

Yeah cos I am sure Liverpool and City wouldn't have humiliated us otherwise

Also does he not actually realise how fecking lucky we are in matches? We concede so many clean cut chances

Maybe for a normal job where you're on a normal salary. But even in those contracts you have provisos about overtime, etc.

And, let's be honest, we're not talking about a normal job and/or situation. Sending players on holiday or to train with the youth team and then claiming you've worked hard during the break when you spent 75% of it 'resting' is a joke to me.

When is the pre match interview?
What do you want to know?

Boys had a nice break and we are raring to go.

Donny is training well and people have to wait for their chances. Noone has been on bench like me.

We are all waiting for Pogba to come back and help us.

Ronaldo is a brilliant player and I am glad to have him in my team.

We are still trying with Jesse and hope we can change his mind . I will give him minutes and he deserves it.

Criticism is part of this club . If you are a club captain you will always be scrutinized. Think Harry had a brilliant 2 games and we all want him ready tomorrow.

I always have my management support. I am no way feeling insecure. Yes, the results has to improve starting tomorrow. Boys are ready to show who we are. We will show a real fight against a mighty Watford.

I pity him now. You can see the haunted look on his face. Not knowing when they are going to pull the rug under him.
I really hate the owners for putting him thru this torture. A man who is a legend as a player should never be tortured like this.
Just let him go.
He could always walk. He must have taken 20 million for the last 3 years of work and he’ll be loaded from his playing career.
