If Spurs get Dybala they will win the CL
I think we knew Inter will make a new bid soon that meets our valuation of Lukaku and we decided to take the cash and save money. So assuming Spurs get him I guess the wages and image rights thing was pure bollocks, and he just didn't want to play for us under Ole in the Europa? Christ.
If Spurs sign this lad then they've officially become a more attractive club to play footie for that Utd and it's all cause of that damn stadium brewery. Dark times.
So you’re willing to take the clubs briefing as gospel? The club themselves briefed the press so it's hardly speculation.
Their stadium payments are only £25m a year. They have just signed a lucrative sponsor deal and also stadium naming rights. The stadium will pay for itself.Guarantee you they'll sign Lo Celso then pull out of Dybala.
This is Spurs, they couldn't afford a transfer window last season due to paying back the stadium, they won't suddenly go from that to over indulging.
Nope, we agreed wages. It was the third party image rights that was staggeringly high.
No they did notDon't think so, Agresti/Romano/Pedulla all reported he wanted £18m annual salary before tax from us which was apparently too high. So we never agreed on wages at all according to media.
However, I believe Dybala was never interested in joining us in first instance.
Eriksen is also still their player. Their first eleven ain’t improved imo. But their squad is a lot better. If they get him, where do they even play him? Kane is starting as the #9, Alli plays #10 and they also agreed a fee for Lo Celso, they have Son and Moura as the other two forwards. Their attack could be loaded.
Thank you for putting it so succinctly.First of all you equated 7.5m euros net a year to £300k a week which is wrong.
Secondly his wages are 7m euros net a year.
The tax rate in Italy is not 50% so you are making a mistake already is 43%
So if you do the maths correctly 7m euros a year is gross 12.25m euros a year which equates to 235 euros a week. Converting that to £s that comes to £216 a week
This also has not yet accounted for the tax free allowance etc, however this is is a lot closer to the approximation I did to £210K than your £300k which is way off
What else is there to take? The club said Dybala didn't want to come here because of wages or whatever? That part may clearly be pure bollocks but ultimately, he didn't want to come here, yet he is happy to go to Spurs. Exactly what are we supposed to take from that?So you’re willing to take the clubs briefing as gospel?
At United we demand all control and then offer the player a percentage, it was a non starter for us. Where as I don't believe this is the case with Spurs. Also because of the Adidas association, I believe the issue was Dybala has to transfer all ownership to them. How could they not? They'd have to have at least some (right of use) of his image rights in order for the deal to go through. Even then, getting a marketable player with the highest transfer fee in your history and not acquiring his image rights is madness.
If they pull this off, which I think is highly unlikely because it's stupidly difficult to resolve these matters in less than 12 hours, I really want to know how they structured the image rights parts.

Yep, Mata and Lintard, we are well setGrow up for feck sake.
Its Paulo Dybala, not fecking Eric Cantona.
No one precised net or gross but one of the reports used Cavani gross wage as an example, they didn't precise that it was gross though which made me wonder about all this gross/net certitudes that people have on the caf.Don't think so, Agresti/Romano/Pedulla all reported he wanted £18m annual salary before tax from us which was apparently too high. So we never agreed on wages at all according to media.

I did, the guy player something like 50 games last season scoring over 10 goals, and was a vital player for their CL final run.Did you watch it in autumn and winter?
We will announce De Gea signing an extension. It's like a new signing.Expecting the biggest meltdown if they pull it off
That’s we’re a shit run club that top class talent doesn’t want to join anymore, that’s what we’re supposed to take from it.What else is there to take? The club said Dybala didn't want to come here because of wages or whatever? That part may clearly be pure bollocks but ultimately, he didn't want to come here, yet he is happy to go to Spurs. Exactly what are we supposed to take from that?
Can you imagine if we acctually went ahead with the cheese room, Messi would be knocking on Levy's door .So assuming Spurs get him I guess the wages and image rights thing was pure bollocks, and he just didn't want to play for us under Ole in the Europa? Christ.
If Spurs sign this lad then they've officially become a more attractive club to play footie for that Utd and it's all cause of that damn stadium brewery. Dark times.
Im talking about bringing in realistic signings who would be interesting in joining us. We might lose out on Dybala but there's still good options out there. This make no sense, we were talking about Dybala and why the move didn't happen and you are now talking about 3 players who aren't particularly rated and would cost north of 200m combined. If you were talking about adding +200m of spending then yes money is an issue, United isn't the Bank of England.
We can revisit in 10 hours once he has signedLucas plays for about 3 games a year and Dybala hasn't signed.

It’s Ornstien. I’m sure he’ll be your player come 5.Is the BBC a good enough source yet? By the way - still refusing to believe we will sign him.
Dybala was open to Red Devils' initial suggestion of a five-year contract worth nine million euros per season but the player's representative then demanded at least 12 million euros.
The Argentine's agent, Jorge Antun, met with Manchester United's directors in London and, just as it seemed that the figure had been agreed, Antun asked for 15 million euros as a signing-on fee, a demand which went down badly both with both clubs.
It now seems that there is a sense of annoyance with Antun, who is not a licensed football agent, and only got the role with Dybala due to a long-standing friendship with the Argentine's father.
There is another major problem in the drama being played out between Dybalaand Manchester United.
Normally, when a club buys a player, they also take over his image rights, but Dybala's belong to the Malta-based Star Image Company, with whom he is currently embroiled in a court case, after having withdrawn from a contract with them in 2017 under bad terms.
Same mate, can you imagine @SquishyMcSquish's reaction if we do.Is the BBC a good enough source yet? By the way - still refusing to believe we will sign him.
Sounds like we’ve dodged a bullet to be honest. This is an interesting and informative text about why there was no deal with United:
Don't think it's that simple. He's in dispute over image rights so you're looking at forking out a massive sum of money to resolve that on top of the transfer fee and agents fees and wages....and that's subject to coming to an agreement to do that. Just seems like more trouble than it's worth for a player who if it was up to them wouldn't be leaving at all. Especially if it's true you only didn't sign Fernandez due to the fee.According to mainstream sources personal terms are agreed, its just the commercial rights, if Dybala wants to come it will be sorted if not he wont.
No they did not
Romeo Agresti is Tier 1 for Juve, he said Dybala asks for Request: salary above 10 million net per year.No one precised net or gross but one of the reports used Cavani gross wage as an example, they didn't precise that it was gross though which made me wonder about all this gross/net certitudes that people have on the caf.
And you responded to a post about the Dybala deal. Also this football club spend almost everything on the football team, around 95%.Im talking about bringing in realistic signings who would be interesting in joining us. We might lose out on Dybala but there's still good options out there.
Also this huge investment is needed because the club had under invested for the past 2 years while it also allowed players like Fellaini, Herrera and Lukaku to leave. It takes alot of £££ to stay on top. Money isn't there simply to pay the Glazer's debts.
Isn't that what I said? I don't know what you're trying to argue here. That’s we’re a shit run club that top class talent doesn’t want to join anymore, that’s what we’re supposed to take from it.
So funny that no fecking body realizes that Dybala >>>>>> than these two. Spurs sign him and we offer new contracts to past it players. Wonderful really.Yep, Mata and Lintard, we are well set
Your first mistake alreadyRomeo Agresti is Tier 1 for Juve, he said Dybala asks for Request: salary above 10 million net per year.
Assuming he's talking in £, given the tax rate in UK that works out at £18.1million
Here is the article - https://www.goal.com/it/notizie/cal...o-manchester-united/3spsv3bsrmki1leezcdglnk6f
I seem to remember demands of £10m net salary being reported by likes of Pedulla/Romano too, let me search for them.
BBC reporting a deal is close nowhilarious the debate and meltdown that flows once a bit of information is released that may or may not ever happen..............
