Umm, this guy has spent his whole time here on the treatment table. He has contributed virtually nothing for the club and has basically been gifted millions just because, not accounting for the whole treatment enchilada that the club is also paying for. So yes, fans have a right to be upset that the club is wasting millions that could have gone to actually a good player who could have contributed. This type of sentimentality has got us to where we are at the moment and the sooner we get rid of it, the sooner the club would be better. Jones is not the only example here, of course, but he is the most extreme one. He hasn't played for years. No top club would tolerate something like this. Why does it seem to me that most United fans do not have the backbone to call something like this? It's like some kind of inferiority complex is running around this club "oh we can't be like Madrid or Bayern, we're special. We have heart". Who is gonna give me 75k per week in real life for not showing up to work or doing any of it? Like any company in the world is gonna give even the slightest feck whether you're sick or not. You either do a job or you're out. Phil Jones doesn't, but okay - let's pay him because he's a good lad... or something.
