Why is he still here? He's on the bracket of Sanchez, Rojo, and Bailly who United should get rid off.

He has an opportunity to get first team football after a career spent injured, but he'll rather waste away on our bench. He knows he won't last 2 weeks playing regularly before he breaks. What a waste of wages. Really can't wait for him to feck off.

Wasted wages on Lingard, Mata, Jones, VDB, peirera, before that Romero and Rojo etc. We are so wasteful.

Wait and see before judging this one. It seems Bordeaux wanted him as cover so it might not have given him playing time anyway so what would be the point in moving to a new country to stay parked on the bench. Window is still open and it is clear we are willing to loan him and pay the bulk of his salary to help him get his career back on track, got to be a couple of clubs domestically who would be interested you would think. I am hoping there is another club in the picture and he will still move for his sake as much as for the club.

To be fair, I could never see Jones fitting in abroad could you? he doesn't seem the most cultured bless him.

My assumption is he will be gone in the Summer and perhaps want to play out the rest of his time here making an occasional appearance rather than suddenly off to France and getting no farewell

In fairness i think Bordeux had some issue with Laurent Kosceilny, i think he went full Arsenal on them and walked out or something. Jones could be a good call compared to him.

I truly feel sorry for Phil Jones. A player of immense potential who was ruined by relentless injuries and now become the subject of mockery by the news media and fans.

He played 27 times for England, went to the World Cup twice, he's got 200+ appearances for Manchester United, he won the premier league, he won the FA cup. He's a multi millionaire.

Sure there's going to be some frustration on his part, but let's not pretend he hasn't achieved more than 99.9% of players in the game ever will.

We can still feel sorry for him when we see what he has achieved when fit. If not for injuries he could have achieved so much more. Hell we may even have kept the 80m rather than buying Harry

He was one of the best players on the pitch against Wolves so if Ragnick is satisfied with him in training he should be given a chance, the talent Fergie saw is clearly still in there somewhere.

In fact, I'd like to see him play against M'boro tomorrow.

True he has achieved more than most, but it's a testament of his immense potential that we are all left wondering what might have been. If only he wasn't so injury prone. We can acknowledge what he has achieved and still mourn what might have been and what he has become instead.

I think we could've saved quite a lot on defenders, that is for sure.

Having spent so much time in rehab than most rehab specialists, he should take up physical therapy. Probably will injure himself carrying a weight cuff from the rack to the client and end up in rehab himself though.

I've tried to stay away from social media when it fit my agenda, but when I was offered that much money I couldn't refuse.

I hope he will be enjoying his Pepsi while answering fans amd taking their money.

I still find it hard to believe that he's on a contract with us.

Any chance he could be sold in the summer? It's a bit of a joke he's lasted 10 years and still contributes nothing.

Many people here are still fine with it, because apparently he is the first player in history to have problems with injuries so we should support our players.

You are probably one of those that want him to get a new an improved contract to give us nothing in return.
Yes because there's no middle ground between offering him a bumper new deal and screaming at him to feck off.

Like many fans, I wish a longserving, but sadly injury-blighted, player well and hope he can rebuild his career somewhere.

Long serving?

Only in keeping the medical bed warm for others if needed.

Guys played like 2 meanigful games in 4 years.

Guy needs to be gone.
