He literally did worse than some random bloke called Mark Sampson and has been replaced by a manager who won the previous Euros and finished runner-up in the last World Cup so he’s absolutely not the best they could get.Don’t believe he said that for a second.
If he’s comparing himself to previous England women’s team managers then he is better and probably the best they could get.
Yeah but he can do a mean step-over.He literally did worse than some random bloke called Mark Sampson and has been replaced by a manager who won the previous Euros and finished runner-up in the last World Cup so he’s absolutely not the best they could get.
He just lost 8/12 games with one of the best squads in the world and his only previous coaching experience was at the Moyes disaster at United and his brother’s even bigger disaster at Valencia. I stick by my fraud assessment.
AbsolutelyWhether you're a manager with 20 trophies to your name or one just starting off, some caftard will end up calling you a fraud for no apparent reason.
Yeah this. Anything to get a dig in on former United players.Whether you're a manager with 20 trophies to your name or one just starting off, some caftard will end up calling you a fraud for no apparent reason.
If only he’d won the prestigious She Believes Cup to silence his doubters. Can't use that stick with Poch anymore!
I said a legit trophyCan't use that stick with Poch anymore!
That’s how you know you made it.Whether you're a manager with 20 trophies to your name or one just starting off, some caftard will end up calling you a fraud for no apparent reason.
It's like a Pokémon badgeWhether you're a manager with 20 trophies to your name or one just starting off, some caftard will end up calling you a fraud for no apparent reason.
20 trophies didn't helped Pep here though, he is still a fraud for a fair numberWhether you're a manager with 20 trophies to your name or one just starting off, some caftard will end up calling you a fraud for no apparent reason.
Let’s hope you’re incredibly wrong then because Peter Lim makes the Glazers look fantastic. You can never win anything with kids.
You'll never overhaul Liverpool's titles.
You can't win the treble
You'll never make it as a pro-footballer.
etc.
These lads are not motivated solely by money.
They will attempt to. They may not be successful. You'll note I also included their business contacts.
Does he even coach he says about a man with a UEFA Pro License.......Most uninspiring Man Utd player I know. Does he even coach? He must be so lucky to be part of the class of 1992 which has now set him up for life.
What are you basing that on?Don’t believe he said that for a second.
If he’s comparing himself to previous England women’s team managers then he is better and probably the best they could get.
He’s not going to set the world alight but I see no reason why people get so negative about ex players.
Well they’ve under achieved consistently, no big name managers have been there and even though it’s only Phil Neville his presence has helped elevate the women’s game. What are you basing that on?

He got to a semi final and from what I’ve read was very close indeed to beating the USA team to make a final.
He’s entitled to defend his tenure there when questioned by the press. Like I say he’s nothing special as a manager but who are the women’s team likely to attract who’s a definite upgrade?
He literally did worse than some random bloke called Mark Sampson and has been replaced by a manager who won the previous Euros and finished runner-up in the last World Cup
Then complain when Gary Neville does the exact same thingYeah this. Anything to get a dig in on former United players.
Yeah, I can’t argue with the fact that he’s more famous to the average person in the street than any coach in the women’s game. It’s a ridiculous reason to choose a manager though and it’s arguable as to whether his presence really made an impact. The popularity of the team had already been on a rapid uphill trajectory due to the 2015 World Cup.@renandstimpyfan83 Most high profile I meant. They were certainly looking to get a known face to represent the game.
not according to the playersDon’t believe he said that for a second.

Yeah I agree with that however I think the most important thing ultimately was raising the profile of the sport.Yeah, I can’t argue with the fact that he’s more famous to the average person in the street than any coach in the women’s game. Thankfully, the FA went down a different route this time and have hired someone with a genuine track record in the women’s game, rather than a famous ex player with no managerial experience.
Surely the players adapt to the philosophy not the other way around.not according to the players

I meant more regarding Nevilles ability rather than his prestige, your point about who they could get who has a bigger name is probably a valid one, he does have a larger media profile. It’s not the way I’d go about hunting for a manager but I do see why they went that route.Well they’ve under achieved consistently, no big name managers have been there and even though it’s only Phil Neville his presence has helped elevate the women’s game.

Hah yeah, there's a balance because the women's game needs to build the brand consistently. We don't really know very much about P Nev's ability, perhaps we will see it a bit more in depth at club level in Miami, with much more regular games and full time coaching.I meant more regarding Nevilles ability rather than his prestige, your point about who they could get who has a bigger name is probably a valid one, he does have a larger media profile. He does have the right to defend himself, though I did find pointing to short corners as testament to his vision as kind of funny, but I’ve only seen the couple sentences out of context, I’m sure if I listened to the interview in full he’d come off as less Brent like, or Brendan like.
Very fair point.Let’s hope you’re incredibly wrong then because Peter Lim makes the Glazers look fantastic.
It’s the type of crap name you expect on a fantasy football website. The club's name is so dumb it's hard to get past.
His record was pretty darn bad as England manager. He also comes across as someone devoid of personality. Have to say Beckham brought it upon himself when he hired his mate knowing full well he isn’t up to it.6 losses on the bounce. Who would have guessed that he's not great manager material?
The name's a little crap, but I feel MLS clubs are a bit damned if they do and damned if they don't. The American names like "Austin Bold" get shat on as well. Either way I think they might get sued for it.It’s the type of crap name you expect on a fantasy football website.
I currently live in Miami and I think I’ve only ever seen the team advertised once, inside a Publix for something. No one talks about the team and no one really cares either. Their main team is the Dolphins then the heat and then any other team. This is a city full of Hispanics who love football too.
