Accurate, but that’s way more words than I wanted to type on my phone.Thread title needs changed. "Pitch invader tries to punch Goalkeeper, gets put on his arse and choked out"
The stands?I understand where the fan is coming from, this is how I feel every time we have to play Sevilla.
All it takes is one drunken idiot... This one is down to poor security more than anything else. You expect security to be right on his heels the minute he steps in the pitch, instead it took them about a minute to get to him. It's kinda incredible this happened at PSV. Have they ever had serious fan trouble? And it's not like they're in a disastrous season either. I wonder how drunk that dude was.
apparently it was a drunk barca fan who thought he’d spotted ten hag.
Drunken logic. More area to punch, ftfw. What I don't get is why they always go for the goalkeeper?
out of 11 options, why opt for the 6'4, bald headed croatian that has hands like baseball gloves?
Opt for little Jonny over at left back, you might have a chance.
Never understood why clubs suffer the full weight of penalisation for actions of individuals. I'd understand if we're talking about a club not dealing with persistent individuals, but how can you calculate any single individual doing something? You'd have to literally see the future.PSV in for a long ban.
Because the clubs need to provide the safety of the players.Never understood why clubs suffer the full weight of penalisation for actions of individuals. Wait what? Sarcastic I hope? It's the worst we've ever played. It's kinda incredible this happened at PSV. Have they ever had serious fan trouble? And it's not like they're in a disastrous season either. I wonder how drunk that dude was.
Well, sure, but compared to recent seasons, you're going out of Europe around the same time as usual, and you're also again still kinda in the title race (probably also again without really expecting to win it). I know it's not great and it's not looking up for next season either with the way things are going now - but given recent history, it's not really disastrous either, right?Wait what? They are. PSV's fans are nowhere near the top when it comes to 'difficult' fanbases in the Netherlands.pretty shocking stuff, especially from a PSV fan. I would have expected mad stuff from Feyenoord or Ajax fans but i always (and probably mistakenly) thought of PSV fans as the more genteel of the big three in Holland.
I've always assumed the purpose is to deter the individuals with the threat of punishment for the club. But more with regard to attention-seeking pitch invaders, not bodily assault.Never understood why clubs suffer the full weight of penalisation for actions of individuals. Would definitely call it disastrous. Truwly awful football, even worse manager and no perspective whatsoever.Well, sure, but compared to recent seasons, you're going out of Europe around the same time as usual, and you're also again still kinda in the title race (probably also again without really expecting to win it). I'll take this to the Eredivisie thread.Would definitely call it disastrous. Truwly awful football, even worse manager and no perspective whatsoever.
Careful now! What I don't get is why they always go for the goalkeeper?
out of 11 options, why opt for the 6'4, bald headed croatian that has hands like baseball gloves?

Surprised it hasn't happened already. We are not far away from one genuinely unhinged individual doing something far worse than trying to swing a punch. It only takes one person
Agree but the ref would send the players off which is the only issue. I don't think anyone would have an issue with the ref looking the other way if the GK would have thrown one back, these dickheads know the players cant hit them, which is why they do it.If a fan enters the pitch (unless its a safety thing), the players or refs should be allowed to beat the shit out of them with no punishment.

Feyenoord. Also Ajax, but not as much random vandalism. PSV's fans are waaaaay down that ranking. Are PSV the ones with the real cnuty fans or is that Feyenoord?
