Why not, also make him the manager and CEO, print his picture on the club's crest instead of the devil figure and rename the club after him, like "Pogba United FC" to convince him to stay.Mail On Line.

No, I’m not. Pogba’s only stretch of consistent, quality performances lasted less than two months after Ole took over. He was then a complete liability in midfield for the remainder of the season. So you're just proving my point really then.
Just saw that. Knowing us, it's £5m a week.Mail On Line.

It was not just a man thou, but it is fine. The whole team should take the blame. My blame is that does anyone actually thinks Ole will challenge for top four next season without Pogba in his team ? Am all for rebuilding but let be honest here, Ole caliber really does not warrant any trust, a good man for sure but I cant see us doing anything significant with Pogba. What did the fans do to him? one man shouted at him at the last match of the season after sulking for about 3 months?
Let him sulk in Madrid for one game and he will see with his own eyes how nasty the fans can be.
Bollocks imo. He has 3 more years on his current one. The press are starting to hit us from every angle as we look (and are) in a mess.Mail On Line.

Why would he go for a deal like that? Doesn't even include his own nuclear deterrent. Why not, also make him the manager and CEO, print his picture on the club's crest instead of the devil figure and rename the club after him, like "Pogba United FC" to convince him to stay.
Sure we can.We can't sell him, so we have to keep him.
To do what? You really believe we are going to replace Pogba in the current market? Forget about it, we keep him.Sure we can.
Replace who, exactly? The guy who shows up every now and then, and who is easily our best outfield player? No. Certainly not one-for-one.To do what? You really believe we are going to replace Pogba in the current market? Forget about it, we keep him.
Thank God.3/3 posts today
I get that, but what the fans has been doing to him, do you blame him. I really don't see next season been a good one for us.
Exactly.Would happily extend his contract if that means another 5 years from him. Offload Lukaku and Sanchez, sign couple of energetic midfielders and we are set.
You don't sell your best players.
Yes sue him and his agent for breach of contract and reputational damage to the football club .I think we should get in replacements now and fine him 2 weeks wages for his comments.
Point out to him further instances will be a further fine and loss of loyalty bonuses due.
Ask him if his agent will be recompensing his loss of earnings from his own agents fees.
If he doesn't want to stay he can shut up and perform like CR7 did and he'll generate real interest and a good fee.
If he carries on griping he should be disciplined. He signed a contract. He's not lived up to it.
You do if they are a "virus" and a disruptive malign influence in your dressing room .Would happily extend his contract if that means another 5 years from him. Offload Lukaku and Sanchez, sign couple of energetic midfielders and we are set.

At the time he was right. He made those comments after two very disappointing summers in 2009 and 2010 - it clearly looked like we had no intention of signing genuine top class players to try and fill the void Ronaldo had left.He wasn't though, was he? How much have we spent since then? How much have we invested in managers? It's all been done wrong until we gave Mou the boot, but you can hardly accuse the club of not throwing money at the problem.
We won’t do anything significant with or without Pogba. So what’s the point in keeping him? Even in the best case (highly unrealistic scenario) where he suddenly gets a good attitude, works hard, and consistently performs, we would still struggle to get into the top 4.It was not just a man thou, but it is fine. The whole team should take the blame. My blame is that does anyone actually thinks Ole will challenge for top four next season without Pogba in his team ? Absolutely. I love Pogba, and I'll miss him... But this (if true) is getting ridiculous. Why not, also make him the manager and CEO, print his picture on the club's crest instead of the devil figure and rename the club after him, like "Pogba United FC" to convince him to stay.
Probably won't do a worse job, mind. Why not, also make him the manager and CEO, print his picture on the club's crest instead of the devil figure and rename the club after him, like "Pogba United FC" to convince him to stay.

Yeah begging shite players like them to stay. What a bunch of pathetic twats! What if they want '... new challenges elsewhere...'
You think Paul Pogba needs another 100k a week?
Let the man go. Conclude this narrative. Move on.
We have become Arsenal under Wenger, begging players like Henry and RVP to stay.
It's embarrassing.
Point is we should not be begging.Yeah begging shite players like them to stay. What a bunch of pathetic twats!
Do you mean like the time we begged Rooney to stay? Or what about the time we begged Ronaldo to stay after he said he wanted a new challenge? Was we arsenal then? What if they want '... new challenges elsewhere...'

Good thing this has nothing to do with the original point then but keep up the straw man if it makes you feel better. Our poor form doesn't mean that our good form wasn't impressive, same with your own team.
It doesn't alter your point, it disproves it entirely.
Yeah in the long run of course but again my point still stands you're going to initially struggle until Ole can work out a game plan which suits the entire team. No, I’m not. Pogba’s only stretch of consistent, quality performances lasted less than two months after Ole took over. He was then a complete liability in midfield for the remainder of the season.
New players who fit the more high pressing, fluid system Ole wants to implement will benefit us much more than relying on Pogba as much as we did last season.
Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham have had to deal with this type of thing virtually every time they had a world class player. Heck, we even got some of those players to join us. The fact of the matter is that there is only one thing that will keep the best players happy, competing for the top trophies.Do you mean like the time we begged Rooney to stay? Or what about the time we begged Ronaldo to stay after he said he wanted a new challenge? Was we arsenal then?
Thanks crossyThis might be the best post in this thread.

12 months ago, he was made captain for our season opener, scored and his manager said post match that he was a monster and put the team first (or a very similar sentiment regarding wanting to play post World Cup) pogba on the other hand stirred as much shit as was humanly possible and managed to change the entire narrative of the start of the season.People need to rethink Pogba. Incredibly talented. That is not debated but when a player that is meant to be a leader makes a comment like this:
"After this season and everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well, I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else."
at a sponsor's event, you have got to ask if that's the player you want in your team.
I reaches a conclusion a long time ago: no matter how talented a player is, if he wants out, let him go. A player less talented than Pogba but with 100% commitment to the club, will be a better keep in the long run.
Expecting £180m for Pogba is the most preposterous hallucination I have read on here in a very long time. Pogba is good but not outstanding on the field, and a troublemaker off it, and that affects his sale value. There will be no queue of clubs to sign him, and if Juve come calling they won't pay more than they sold him for, and so far they don't look interested.Utter nonsense. Pogba is a far better player with far more accomplishments to his name than a Coutinho. If you think his value has not increased and possibly even declined since we signed him then you don't understand the transfer market at all.
Best post in 113 pages! He has potential to be a pain in the backside for the entirety of his career. Time to cash in (if anyone is stupid enough to pay crazy money) and let him be a problem elsewhere.Pogba problems during Fergie era.
