Would you accept Dybala and Sandro for Pogba?

Pogba has done every snake move to show he wants to go accept saying it, he doesn't want to lose his bonus. His new challenge comments suggest leaving, suggest he wants out with saying it. His mouthpiece brother and disrespectful agent are only doing what he wants. He's such a coward, he would rather remove himself from the team and put this stuff out. Everything is planned tactically, last night during a game was going to upset many people. There doing it so the fan base completely turns on him, forcing the club to act and sell. It's dirty unprofessional tactics but it's working. The last move is refusing to play, might not get that far before he does that.
United need to be getting this sorted soon. Can't have this holding up deals again.
 
He really doesn't seem to be dedicated to the club anymore, whatever about being a good/bad influence, he rarely even turns up to watch games. He could clearly be doing all of his rehab in the UK, and supporting the team when he can. I don't really care if he's been given the ok to do this or not, anyone who was really dedicated would be supporting their team mates at any given opportunity. Time for him to go.
 
I’ve never liked Raiola, but always understood he did what he did as part of the dance to get what was best for himself and his client.

But trying to twist what Olé said into a slavery comment is just pathetic. He knows full well that’s not what Solskjaer meant & this is a new low.

Pogba out, Sancho in this Summer and nobody could complain.
 
How will Pogba and Raiola feel if they don't command a fee north of 100m? In all honesty, I can see that affecting their egos. It is basically admitting that Pogba is not that great a player, or that there is too much baggage surrounding him that most clubs stay clear. Either way, the transfer fee is surely going to reflect how the football-world sees Pogba, and that I think is going to be important to them.

Another point, watching United against Chelsea, where we admittedly didn't play very well, I wondered who will Pogba replace? Matic may not be close to world class anymore, but he stabilises the team. Fred is steadily improving and is now a vital cog in the team. Substituting Pogba for him would remove far too much energy from our midfield. Bruno doesn't look like much of a downgrade on Pogba in the more advanced midfield position either - better vision and better in tight areas.

I think most would expect Pogba would walk into the United side and most teams, but he is an enigma of a player. Not a great ten and needs two workhorses in midfield to be a great 8.

I officially despise the Pogba family as much as Raiola. This is definitely a plan by the player, siblings and agent to make the club sell for a much lower price, because no club values Pogba that highly.

I really gave Pogba the benefit of the doubt but he can get the feck out now and take his w*nker agent with him.
 
Pogba has really disappointed me. The constant mouthing off of that cnut of an agent, and his brother now coming out and throwing gallons of fuel onto the fire, there is absolutely no way Pogba has no hand in this himself. Either that or he is a coward and not standing up for himself and telling them to pack it in.

Fed up of it all now. Sell him, get a good fee and never deal with that tw@t again.

Theyre overplaying their hand. Its happened that many times now that the fanbase have become desensitised to this shit. They arent really creating a shitstorm that needs Paul gone, itd in one ear and out the other
 
Look at the unity we have on the pitch right now, these lads are giving everything. Why bring a sulky, ridiculously inconsistent player back into the fold ? On his very rare days he’s a great footballer but his time here is up. I’d rather have Grealish than I would Pogba.

I was thinking we might see some reaction from their camp to apologise, feel remorse, because those Raiola comments definitely crossed the line.

But we got a doubling down on those statements from one of the mouthpiece brothers. Pathetic attitude and it just irks everyone the wrong way.

Would rather have grealish playing 8/10 every week than pogba playing 8/10 once every couple of months. He doesn't want to be here, so get rid!

Let's hope we can get the deals done in the summer.
 
He should never be involved in another game for this club again, complete joke of a player.

Anything said by his agent or his family is coming directly from him, deluded to think otherwise.

The only reason he came back to this club is because we threw money at him and his agent. He doesn't give a crap about this club, If he did he wouldn't be using his agent and family to constantly stir shit up.

I love Pogba. He is an excellent player but the media circus around him is ridiculous. I don't remember DDG's agents/family constantly talking to the media about his future though.

Come to think of it, even when Cristiano wanted to leave and made the slave comments. Fergie got him to stay for one season and that was that. After that point, he was professional, didn't talk to the media and left after the UCL final with minimum fuss.

This is what an agent like Riola can do. We were all hoping to sell Pogba for atleast 120M until last week and suddenly because of his antics in media our expectations have been brought down to 80-90M range.

He did the damage by taking him to Juve 7 years back after we provided the platform through our academy and now we are letting him to do the same by selling him for less than the market value. I wish our board stay strong and sell him only on our terms.

Well circus sometimes aint his own creation, most might be. DDG case might be different thats why, also in case of Ronaldo, Sir Alex asked him to stay, which he did and he was let go, one guy gave a word to another and didnt break it.

Who the heck knows what that clown EW promised Pogba and MR, before and after he joined, who knows what kind of word he gave it to them for last summer maybe. People forgot what he did to Evra? I am just saying this whole shitshow stinks of desperation, something might be promised to delay issue and put it under the carpet for some period, summer came and nothing happened, now they look so desperate to leave, they would do and say anything.

Like i said, not trying to defend, just finding weird this extreme hate for him, sure i can say they can feck off if they dont wanna be here but some people really hate the guy for everything even when he has feck all to do with it.
 
I can understand Pogba wanting to leave for CL football and a few trophys, but I would at least respect him if he played and gave his best untill the end of the season, but this is totally disrespectful.
 
Pogba's primary goal is to get fit for the euros and leave United in the summer and I think the majority of people knew this.
This is why we don't need this sh*t storm emanating from Raiola's mouth.
 
Raiola is making the situation untenable so Pogba can leave even if the offer for him is very sub-par. That's pretty much clear here. He wants out, and he'll do anything to make that happen. Pogba is allowing it to happen and is guilty by association.

This may sound counter-intuitive, but the club shouldn't react to this right now - that's what Raiola and co want. Instead we should lean and act upon this in the future. For now, I think we're pretty clear on what our policy is when a player is unhappy and is affecting squad unity, we let him go. But by all accounts, Pogba plays ball and is very professional influence in the dressing room. In that case, we have no issue at all - we wait for him to be back from injury and then give him a chance to show what he can do. It should be business as usual. The sooner he's back, the better. If he doesn't play well after coming back - we could deal with it then.

As for the summer, same deal. If he hands in a transfer request and we get an offer that matches valuation, we sell him. If we don't, then he stays. The key takeaway is to try and not have Raiola players on our books in the future. Raiola aims to inflame fans, board and club emotionally because it's in his interest, but that's not in ours and we should keep that in mind before we make any decisions.
 
We're not going to get anything close to his full value. I'm expecting £80m max.

With Fernandes here and Maddison/Grealish obviously being considered - looks like the club have just washed their hands of him. Hopefully we drag it out until the last week of the window though, be as awkward has possible, dust off the De Gea fax machine.

As you say, this was all very very predictable. It is a bit sad for me because Fergie already applied this "filter" when it came to signing players, we just lost our way.

Many players have come and gone from big clubs pulling these stunts. Balotelli at one point thought he was invincible and today you don't hear even a whisper about his career. Pogba is not that special and has never been that special. We are we are without him and may be a marginal couple of points better off with him. His influence is limited and the only reason it is even impactful is because of the level of quality behind him. Truth is, in the market, we could sign a player that cost 3x less than Pogba who can approximate the skills we need from him. We don't need all the flash that comes with him and I do not believe that is worth an addition 100m.

Don't think we can afford to wait anymore. It's been two years in the making. We can't afford to start the season working from behind. We already wasted a year and at least 30m in value letting him stay. The summer will be the last year of his deal. It would be wasteful not to sell him and use that money to sign new players. We are not in a position to sit like City were with Tevez. We do not have the replacement talent already at the club ( Pogba was deployed deeper so no, Fernandes is not his replacement).
 
People keep forgetting that Pogba's wages expire next summer. I would personally sell him for cheap as I would still want us to get something from him. It would be interesting however, if his contract expired and no other big clubs wanted to take on his wages or his agent's fees. Even if Juventus did end up taking him, they would do so while paying him huge figures. Pogba would also lose the hype and media attention around him that caused him to leave in the first place.
 
The fact he doesn't say anything and his agent keeps undermining the club and trying to lower his asking price through sheer division, so so poor. A coward.

We have an option to extend another year so we are not in a hurry to sell unless it suits us.

I totally understand his reasons for leaving. That's not the issue. DDG didn't flirt with Real every international break. DDG's brother wasn't talking up a move to Madrid every fart's end. DDG's agent wasn't actively criticizing the club to try and get him a move. The cases are very different. I love Pogba as a player - absolute genius at times, but his stay at United should definitely come to an end this summer and I think it will. The circus has to move on to the next town.

I don't even love him as a player. You can't talk about a team not matching your ambitions when you are part of that underperforming group. Face facts, his performances for us have not been world class. This isn't Hazard at Chelsea or Suarez at Liverpool or Bale at Spurs. He has not carried us to anything.

I am fine with the fact that he wants to leave and I don't think he is worth the hassle that some of the fans were giving. However, his constant disrespect to the club through his agent has been jarring. Mourinho called him out prior to this. He told us about his virus like influence on the dressing room. Ole is not as candid as Mourinho. He would not open up about in house issues during press conferences, but the fact that his agent and family members have been such massive disruptors outside of the club speaks volumes of what Pogba himself may be doing. And even if this is not the case, the fact that he has not stopped them from speaking negatively about the club has also damaged his image with most fans. No player has ever tried to embarass the club in this fashion since the dawn of the premier league era. Juventus got relegated due to the Calciopoli scandal, and even they did not face this type of insult. I understand that he was unfairly critisized by pundits when he initially came to the club ( Mourinho defended him at every angle), but since then, he has shown disregard for the club.
 
His fan boys on here who have been defending his behaviour seem to have disappeared lately on this thread. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt when he came back but feck him and his sulky attitude. Wont be remembered in a great light.

Amazes me that you see a difference between Raiola and Pogba. For me, they are one and the same person, with regards to commentary on Pogba. I don't have an issue with Raiola at all. He is simply doing his job, as instructed by his client.

Pogba is the problem. He isn't anywhere close to being as good as he thinks he is, he is proving to be a genuine mercenary and is now also disrespecting an institution who has given him so much opportunity and personal wealth.

For me, Pogba is one of the most despicable characters in football right now, makes the likes of Ballotelli or Tevez look like saints.

I am not claiming either party is innocent, just seems abit of a back pedal from Raiola to now want to open discussions with United. Nothing wrong in believing Pogba might be the one who has finally told him to chill out. Either way, as I said, I am not happy with the circus around the club and believe getting rid of Pogba and using the money to buy a ready made solution to our midfield is the way forward. Fred, Bruno and a strong positionally smart DM would give us alot more stability than trying to add Pogba back into the team. Add Scott and minor appearances from Matic and Andreas (still a mixed bag with him) and our team looks alot more solid.

And surely the comment on Tevez is a biased over exaggeration. The guy was literal scum when he left. Remember the banner?

We are operating under Glazernomics - last 2 years we've seen net spends of around 70m.

We've already spent 50 on Bruno from our Summer budget and we could well be relying on a big Pogba sale to fund our spending - this was evident last Summer when we waited all Summer for Inter to buy Lukaku so we could buy Maguire.

I think we might have big trouble getting more than 60/70m for him given his contract/clearly wants out/injured for a whole year - the only thing that might help us out would be Pogba having an amazing Euros

clubs like Juve have already apparently mooted moves like Ramsey + Rabiot + 15 million which is ridiculous - we've had major issues with players in the past like Di Maria who didn't want to come and Dybala didn't really want to come last summer. Adding players who don't really want to come is a mistake unless you can unearth a young player with something to prove. I was always impressed by Bentacur at Juve.

Where do we see Pogba going then? what clubs would you see as contenders and woud you see potential for any player exchanges that would suit United? Would you just take 70m if that what was on the table - I think I would for an end to the circus
