I mean that was obviously great, but we need to follow this up now.

We won dramatically late on against Villarreal, but then drew with Everton and lost to Leicester.

The performances need to start picking up.

Cavani and Pogba subs changed the game.

Its clear to me that pogba and bruno cannot play together.

Red Card for Casemiro!
I thought I should keep away, but after our first goal went in, I knew the comeback was on and switched on the TV.

I have no idea how the side I saw in the second half didn't score 3 in the first, or how we conceded 2. Bipolar FC.

Same old shite in the first half. Sleepy, dopey and over confident. Ole has coddled this group of players and they needed a boot up the arse at half-time to play as they are expected to.

Glad we won but the brain dead first halves need to go.

I should be enjoying that comeback but I just can't. We are miles off where we need to be. The second half was just gung-ho every player going for it individually. We can't play like that against better sides.

Still no shape and tactics. Things won't improve to Ole goes.

The fans were fricking amazing, turned that around for us. CR7, who else would get the winner? I look at this team and think, what if we had a proper manager in charge, we would be destroying teams, midfield or not. Cannot wait for Ole to go, yes I am a negative numpty but when you have decided enough is enough, there is no going back. Ole has 9 lives but Liverpool next and I am not confident at all.

Can I nominate Robbie Savage for man of the match? As good as that come back was on the field, his commentary for BT made it al the more brilliant.

We were playing against an injury-ridden Atalanta team basically missing their entire defense and having to play multiple players out of position. We, on the other hand, were able to bring the likes of Pogba, Sancho and Cavani from the bench. And we still needed a comeback and Ronaldo goal to win (and it could have well been 1-3 at some point). Comeback was good but that is not sustainable.

To be fair, United attacked well in both halves. The defending was diabolical in the first though, primarily with the set piece goal (the first goal was fairly well worked from Atalanta I thought). Had they defended the set piece better, this could have been 3 or 4-1.

Would have enjoyed the comeback more if we weren't in such a poor run of form. In this context though, it's hard to enjoy it quite as much as we've proven again tonight that we're very suspect at the back.

Fantastic second half and you can't beat the buzz of a comeback win. Not quite as late or dramatic than against Villareal, but still felt great. We were better over all in this game than the Villareal one, despite being two down here.

First half was a nightmare. Two goals were made it easy for them to score, and also us missing out big chances. The latter can happen, but the first shouldn't. I was fearing the worst there and Ole did feel like a dead man walking at that point, especially with the booing.

Comeback complete. Honestly, if our forwards were clinical Fernandes would have ended the game with a double hat trick of assists. We made that a lot tougher than it should have been with crap defending and crap finishing. What a feeling at the end though!

Palomino: Just the 28 fouls for me tonight then. That's all.

Great comeback, there's some spirit still in that team and talk of them downing tools is for the birds.

We have to be clear; we should never have been two behind to that team and staring down the barrel at half time. There are huge worries about how we play both in and out of possession, the side looks as disjointed as hell and we'll drop more silly points this year unless we buck our fecking ideas up.

All that said, what a ballsy win and a hugely enjoyable second half of football that was. Fair play to them for knuckling down and digging themselves out of a huge hole.

I know people hate him and he can be annoying sometimes but he’s infinitely better than the likes of Jenas and Matterface.

Replica of 6th October 2018 Newcastle 3-2 win.
Winner scored by Sanchez ( today Ronaldo)
MoTM both games Pogba.

Next game in 2018 Chelsea, it finished draw 2-2
Next game 2021 Liverpool, it will end draw.

Ole to be sacked in December 2021.

1st half we're wasteful on the final third.

Atalanta did feck all, but every chance they got they score.

2nd half we showed them who's the boss.

I'm baffled by comments saying we're clearly outplayed. No chance

We were the better side both halves and shouldn’t have been 2-0 down.

And one reeled in already!

Another one upset we won??
Upset that our UCL hopes are still alive and can be taken further when a new coach comes in?

No. Elated.

Worst thing would have been to have to write the season off - thanks to Ole - in October.

We should have scored 3-4 in first half.

Just feels like a false positive, the players we have should be playing like we did the 2nd half every week but we get 45 minutes and in Caf style Ole is at the wheel again this week!

I kind of echo Scholes thoughts tbh. Very much papering over cracks. Yeah it was exciting and we enjoyed it in the moment but can’t help but look back and think what on earth where we doing being 2-0 down to that team.
But the intensity in the second half is something to cling onto. If we could just do that for 20-30 mins during any game it’d improve our results massively. We basically never ever play at that pace ever. And the fact we can do it makes it that much more frustrating that we never do.
