These games are draining the life out of us. Predictably frustrating throughout.

Every time we get our hopes up, they let us down. We're just so clueless when we get near goal. These teams are all deploying the same tactics and we have no answer to it. We're really pinning all our hopes on the Europa League, because that table doesn't lie. We ain't moving.

We can't stop here. This is bat country.
Seen that game a dozen times.

Woodwork - twice.

A shit referee.

Freak opposition goal from unlikely scorer.

An opposition goalkeeper who's usually terrible having a worldie.

A team who lie down against their local rival playing out of their skin against United.

Painful moments of braindead play.

A draw at home.

Another poor result at home , despite all the possession we just so toothless up front , lucky enough Williams panicked at the end as their keeper probably saves that , although we were unlucky with the offside call earlier, I thought Zlatan was just onside.

But it only masks just how generally inept we are in front of goal , very little composure and quality on show.

We are not top 4 quality and results bear that out , our best chance of CL is winning the Europa , but not sure we are good enough to do that either.

Shit first half, a bit better between 45-65 mins, then super shit for the rest of the game. Having said that, Barry and Gueye probably should have been sent off and Everton were lucky as shit. Hilarious that pundits are saying they deserved to win!

Lads we have scored the same amount of goals at home as the likes of Hull and Burnley. It's an absolute disgrace!!! Not making the Top 4 with all the money spent is beyond abysmal. At this stage just tuning into watch a Utd game is becoming a chore. I have zero faith in this squad of players. They are embarrassing the club.
Sadly this is rot that's been set in by previous regimes. A panicking Moyes and a stubborn, arrogant Van Gaal.

Oh and just to add, I honestly don't expect anybody except for Ibra to score a goal. Our attackers really do need to take a long hard look at themselves.
I don't want to start on 19 year old Rashford due to age, but Miki, needs to make impact. In our last game, Miki was our only senior attacker and he did nothing. In this game when he came on, he did nothing.

Utter crap. Bunch of impostors in United shirts. Four years post SAF and we're still getting served this shite.

Our starting eleven was no better than theirs, as usual we are too easy to play against, Liverpool ripped Everton apart because they are a better team than us.

Fellaini was shocking and it was farcical he was left on.

Ibra's other goal was onside so we should have won, and we were certainly the better team, but our attack is just so uninspiring with everyone bar Ibra and Rashford looking to pass the buck and such a lack of quality movement and clinical finishing.

By the end Jose was in target striker porn mode, he must have had moist pants watching all those long balls hoofed up to Ibra and the Mop.

We've seen this game so many times this season. We miss a few half-chances in the beginning of the game, their goalkeeper and defence gain some confidence, then we start to panic as the game wears on, Jose subs off the base of our midfield, we lose any kind of movement in the centre of the park, we resort to booting it out on the wings and swinging in hopeful (and shite crosses) hoping that magically Fellaini's or Zlatan's height will help them get on the end of them, and we end the game with 1 point.

We have no movement in the final third, Fellaini and Zlatan both seem to occupy the same space in the box, getting in each other's way, and we resort too often to hopeful long balls. The tactics need to change.

Story of the season.

Still it is an improvement on LVG. Blunt or toothless, we were throwing everything at Everton.

I'm not having all the crap about referees and how we were robbed. Do you honestly think that team deserves top 4? Not a chance.
This. Yes the refs have been shite but we are also shite. We resorted to crossing towards the end but I've better crossing in an under 12 game.

Long ball after long ball after long ball. The ball goes wide and instead of cutting it back to a free player( atleast 3 such occasions tonight) we again try to put in a high cross which doesn't hit the intended target. What are these players being told to do?

What really baffled me so many times in the game, is the amount of times Fellaini and Carrick had acres of space in front of them, yet refused to run into it and just passed to the side instead. I mean, a good 10-15 yards of clear green to run into as well.

We make so many unnecessary passes that offer no contribution to the build up play whatsoever. If a team park the bus, you keep chipping away with little over the top/through balls and players running through the channels, quite a few times it'll get intercepted, but as long as you're recycling the ball properly the breakthrough will come.

Watch Liverpool and Chelsea as prime examples of this.

As a side note, we just have a team full of cowards, no one actually has the ability to try and take a man on and beat them for dribbling, Rashford and Lingard just try to outpace everyone and get muscled off the ball every time. Need martial to re discover his form from last season.

Twice hit the crossbar. A goal disallowed and they score a fluky goal and defend deep with 9 or 10 behind the ball most game.

What we need is someone better than Lingard and Fellaini in that 11 and finish our chances.

If Everton showed half this effort and tenacity against Liverpool at Anfield, they won't have such a pathetic record there.

Robbed!! They bloody need to bring in video replies!! It's a joke now!!
Video referees. I said this in the match day thread.
Officials are making bad decisions, not in our favour and it is happening at crucial times.

How has Rojo an average rating of 5.4? I gave him 8, he bossed the Everton attackers throughout the game, especially Lukaku.

I spent more time looking through my mothers art book than watching the game. It's depressing how in like 90% of our games we resort to lumping balls to Zlatan and Fellaini.

Starting XI offered nothing. Attacking subs who came on done even worse. You also look at the team and wonder who can nick a goal here.

Created little but in general the tempo was slow and the creativity non existent. Lingard and Rash run all day but in gerneral their final ball is seriously lacking. Our set pieces are also atrocious

Pogba was just not there at all. Mihki wasn't much better. No one grasping the game by the balls for us. Frustrating more than anything.

Are you kidding me?
In that game, for 90 minutes, we tried everything. We tried going wide. We tried going through the middle. Along the ground. Route 1. Long shots.
We drove at them for almost the full 90 minutes.
The last 15 mins when we got into the final third we just hit it in the box. I would have liked to see a bit more poise and compousure in our play instead of that. I'll look at stats later but it seemed like we had many more crosses than average that match.

Surely we've beaten the record of home draws, ever?
Nobe. West Brom a few years ago. Liverpool in 11/12. Spurs in 10/11. More after that. 9 draws at home actually not that uncommon. Can't be bothered counting them they are so many.

Leicester has the record with 10 in 2002/03 and in 1996/97 along with Sheffield Wednesday in 1995/96.

Everton keeper made two cracking saves. Woodwork twice, disallowed goal.

If we won we would have deserved too.

I remember Robles making two decent/good saves. I thought Ibra and Rashford should have did better. We can't start saying we were robbed cause we've hit woodwork. So I don't buy the robbed part. We looked clueless for most for the game.

We're cursed by Pazuzu.

Besides this, our players can't score. And they can't string three passes without their minds switching to "HOOF THIS MUDAfeckA BALL" mode.

They are bottlers, but I knew they'd turn up against us. Every player dreams of playing at OT (big stadium, huge crowds, biggest tv audiences etc), so they put in the most effort when they play at OT. And quite frankly, I don't blame them.

Really enjoyed the game. I've stopped caring our league results but this was a great end to end match with people flying into tackles and played at a good tempo. Yes we have zero quality but it was still an entertaining game. I'd have even taken a loss today over the rubbish game we had to watch at the weekend. 1-1 against Sunderland could be pretty boring though.

Last two games have felt like a mix of Moyes and LvG with the spamming crosses and hoofballing.
The problem is - teams come to OT to defend. A point is ok for them. On the other hand, United are hopeless when it comes to breaking down teams that park the bus.

As soon as Jose spots such awful tactics from our opponents, he deploys Fellaini and the hoofball orgy starts. It's very embarrassing but you can hardly blame Jose when his current crop of players can't finish to save their momma's life.

Sorry but what the hell are these pundits talking about? No way should Rashford be our main man next season, he shouldn't even be starting as regular as he is right now.. no league goal since September isn't it? He's finishing is poor.

An opposition goalkeeper who's usually terrible having a worldie.

A team who lie down against their local rival playing out of their skin against United.
