2 goals up and yet again in the CL......

Onana inexcusable

The team fluctuates between brilliance and brinkmanship

There's a certain irony in how much we're struggling for goals in the Premier League yet score 12 in 5 games in the Champions League. And that we'll still not qualify.

It's really maddening how we suddenly started playing football again once they equalised. I never understand this. Surely if we're capable of taking the game to them and creating chances at 3-3, we should have been able to do better at 1-3 or 2-3? We've practically given this game away on multiple fronts.

The less said about Onana, the better.

Utterly disastrous. Lets not kid ourselves. We aren't beating Bayern and, even if we do, there will be a winner in the Galatasary vs Copenhagen game who will qualify with a better goal difference. We're done.

Horrendous game management. How many times have we threw away 2 goal leads in this competition now? Pure vomit.

A game to underline that a lot of this squad is mentally broken and we won't progress while we keep hold of most of them. They show the whites of their eyes the second the pressure's on. They're not players that can be relied on in squeaky bum time.

Bottle job FC, that pellistri sub has to be worse than the Nick Powel one some years back.

Id say there are probably three players id like to keep from this squad, the rest needs to be sold or forced to just stop playing, so much shit but so fecking expensive.

It was chaotic at times, but there were some really good performances in there and we played some of the best stuff we've played in this competition in a long time.

Onana just can't do that at this level. It makes it almost impossible to win a game. I can forgive the first one, but only if the second never happens. I'd have to see the 3rd again but his positioning didn't look great. Maybe it was just a great finish, but from that distance/angle it felt like he had a big gap to aim at...

It’s a shame we had to field an outfield player in goal today, because with a professional goalkeeper we’d surely have won.

It certainly was entertaining, extremely so, and with some good, penetrative attacking football from our side.

I’m not blaming Ten Hag today, that was solely on Onana, and we need to start seriously questioning whether we should still trust him. AFCON can’t come early enough.

Happy we didn't fold in the second half, it was entertaining end to end stuff. Not sure if because Galatasaray are that bad but we gave it a go

Bruno utterly brainless. Laughable giving away 2 stupid free kicks. Onana utterly useless. Cheers lads. We're miles off this level if we struggle against that lot and Copenhagen. Hopefully finish 4th and not third now.

We are masters of buying dogshit goalkeepers and whilst that remains the case, the team isn't achieving anything.

Let's be honest, our team isn't good enough to be playing CL. That's a harsh truth but the reality of the players we have accumulated. I'd rather not finish 3rd and just conc on getting top 4.

Played good, great effort, still a bit flustered and all over the place instead of controlling the game when we go ahead but when you have a keeper throwing the ball in his own net and a team I doubt has any confidence in him it’s always going to be a struggle.

Best game of the season was with Mainoo as a calming presence in the midfield to let us control it. So of course lets bring him off the bench.

This team is always capable of finding a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

If Garnacho or Hojlund had one of the chances that fell to either Pellistri or Martial in those final 15 minutes, we would have got that vital 4th goal. Having said that, what happened in Copenhagen 3 weeks ago has happened - 2-0 up away from home & 3-1 up away from home and we still don’t pick up the 3 points. It’s been the story of our European campaign. Only have ourselves to blame.

So pissed off right off now. We’ve sabotaged ourselves in this competition. Galatasaray were shite but we gifted them 2 goals, they barely had to fight for it. If it wasn’t for Onana this ends 3-1 and it’s in our own hands.

Great game but Onana has cost us throughout the group stage, having said that we still should've won tonight very frustrating.
Today all 3 goals was his responsibility. It is infuriating how bad this goalkeeper is.

We played well. I don't think we crumbled. They were given gifts and they took them. Shame we were a bit wasteful. Onana shouldn't be starting again.
You said we did not crumble , and in the next sentence you have given the very definition of a team crumbling.

Feck this. I don't expect us to win the CL, but we should have, at the very least, progressed beyond the group stage.
14 goals conceded, only 5 points. Embarrassing

Players put in the shift, created a bunch, scored 3 in Istanbul. Eveything was great apart from the Onana feckups but that was all it took to undo the good work.

4 different games ruined by a single player each time and ruining our campaign.

We are wasteful infront of the goal in the final minutes. All well have go to do is to build an attack patiently instead everyone just hoof the ball.

I’m a big fan of Onana but there’s no denying the fact his howlers have cost us in the Champions League this season. We’d have gotten 6 points instead of 1 against Gala if he avoided dropping clangers

amazing how we blew this without even having the usual red card incident. Just howler after howler.

Threw it away, can't defend under pressure, Onana has been the single biggest problem for us this group campaign in the amount of goals he's been directly responsible for, and then when the chips are down at the end players being selfish rather than playing the overlap to go for an easier chance.

Need to beat Bayern at home and hope Galatasaray don't win now to qualify (and hope Bayern beats Kopenhagen). Not over, but hard to see it.

9 goals away from home and 1 point - what a bizarre group stage we’ve had!
I leave the game not too deflated though, thought we weren’t picking anything up here and would have been done by now.
We’re slowly getting back to it and a positive result away at Newcastle and we can start looking up

What the heck?! Ugh, sadly we all expect it but it still hurts.

No idea how we did not score at the end. Goodness gracious.

Finish 4th in group, please.
