We really needed to win that.

Let's face it, when the pressure is on, this team just bottles it big time. (Except for the odd games when Martial bails us out)

Well at least people will stop pretending were in a race for 4th, one of those people being the manager.

Shit that. Rubbish performance apart from the first 20.

We are exactly where we belong.

Van Gaal will surely be axed, but I think he should also be jailed for not finishing in top 4 this season.

That's probably it for top 4 unless City feck it up at Soton.

The second half was absolutely awful.

LVG will say we did well today, didn't let the Foxes win the title here. He looked happy at the final whistle.

Honestly doesn't look like someone who is going to be given his walking papers.

Not enough quality going forward. Uninventive and far too static.
Prem is just too quick for Van Gaal's Philosophy.

Against champions elect or not that was a pathetic performance from the moment we took the lead. Completely took our foot off the glass and didn't take advantage of the apparent nerves the Leicester player had. Typical LVG performance, top four all but gone and hopefully so is the senile old cnut.

For a team that gets such high possession stats, we are the worst I've ever seen at passing the ball. Just simple passes given away, regularly.

Leicester are bang average as well, properly there for the taking.

Should have beaten them, should have been down to 9 men. Oliver is a fecking muppet and Huth can feck right off.

Still slight hopes for top 4... City lose to southampton, then have 2 games against Arsenal and away to Swansea left. If they get knocked out of the CL, they could drop in those 2 confidence wise and all that. We need to beat Norwich, West Ham and Bournemouth though. Can only see 2 wins from 3 there though. Basically any win for City in their next 3 see's them get top 4 I think so it'll be tough but it's still possible.

Not good enough at all.

Too slow in attack and we lack players with pace.

LVG also started us with the slowest midfield ever.

Leicester were hardly amazing. No reason we shouldn't have hammered them, but despite the promising opening 20 minutes we were as shit as usual.

Should have won this but the 2nd half performance wasn't good enough. Nothing wrong with the substitutions as the players needed to be taken off.

Even more annoyed at that Carrick foul than the penalty call. It was just so stupid.

It's like a whole new team came on in the second half. Top 4 gone now, we need that FA cup win.

Good start but flat performance I thought.

Lack of leaders on display in a big game yet again.

Time to bring some genuine quality in.

Different day same old shit.

I'm used to it now, I don't expect any more from this sorry bunch of players we have.

Decent performance against a very good team, Leicester showing just why they are champs and why they have only lost 3 games all season. I didn't think they did that much in the game and anything good they did produce came against Rojo who's quite frankly not good enough. Rooney had a good game but he does need to control his temper at times. Thought martial was still the main threat today.

Overall tho if we played like that all season we would not only be higher up the table but I don't think there would be too many complaints against lack of entertainment. Let's add 2-3 class players into the mix and next season we can win games like this.

Good performance, credit to LVG we are the best side in the league vs the top team. Leciester didn't really play like a top team today but probably shows how much we dominated them and snuffed out any chances they had, bar our usual set piece panic.

Most fans won't be happy because they feel we are entitled to win every single game by 5 goals, but they are likely people that are stuck in the past and don't realise that we have been good this season in these types of games by anyones standards.

Need some more bite up front and sadly when martial plays as absent mindedly as he did today we don't have anyone else to stand in and be consistent

Never looked like scoring in the second half. Second season out of three with no Champions League - pretty much unprecedented for a club of our size. Well done Van Gaal and Woodward.

did neither of us any favors, though it hurt us more. top 4 almost certainly gone for us now.

just hope spurs drop points against chelsea so leicester win the league.
