We were the better team. Poor finishing and moments of poor defending cost us. Wanted to win it, but far from gutted.
Yeah we played well, it wasn't shit on a stick like two years ago, just unlucky with the finishing and then the defensive errors..

Played well, embarrassing defending from Lindelof and AWB on that goal. Adding 3-4 quality players and improving the squad depth is more important than Sancho. Ole had nothing available to try and change the game.

Nothing to get upset about. They are a good, experienced side and our young team battered them really.

Loads of missed chances and some naive defending from AWB was the difference

No complaints - go and have a rest and let’s go again. On the plus’s side had we got to the final we would be playing catch up in the premier league from day 1

I hate football sometimes. I look at our squad and some of our first team and I despair at the enormity of the improvements that are required. We are several years of excellent transfer windows away from being a really good side and that's if we get them right.

Meh, fullbacks cost us today on both goals. Lindelof should do something for the 2nd goal but Bissaka just terrible.

Williams was knackered. Should have been taken off.

Pointless cup anyway and at least now we can prep for next season.

Fred was decent, Pogba some brilliant moments but at times overdid it.

Not fecking good enough. This team has a mental block, that game should have been put to bed within twenty minutes.

AWB is the fullback version of De Gea. He's good at one thing and seemingly shit at everything else required of his position. Not good enough.

Rashford needs to learn that when he's not on it, he loses the right to strut around like he's prime Ronaldo.

We should have buried them in the first 10 mins after half time. Bad luck and another stupendous goalkeeping performance by an opposition GK.

Lindelof should not be first choice. Horrible CB. Not sure what exactly is he good at. Him remonstrating with Bruno after a massive feck up by him cost us the game was irritating. He should have hung his head in shame instead of justifying his crap anticipation as a CB.

This team is the 3rd best in every competition it's played. If Woodward and the board can't do what they're supposed to do this summer we can get used to this

Ed better get his finger out now and stop insulting the fans with his utter inadequacy in bringing in quality players in quick succession

Best performance in ages. Finishing was woeful and we can’t rely on our defenders when they get their only chance of the half.

All in all promising but hard to take. At least it’s only the Europa cup. This team seems to be missing a backbone.

Bring on next season and please a new centre half.
absolutely.

Played ok, didn’t take the chances and a sloppy mistake cost the game. Players will be disappointed knowing they should have won that

Absolute joke! Poor finishing cost us! And Solskjær always making changes far to late!

The worst team won, we had most of the chances and Sevilla got lucky our defence switched off. All teams will have games like this. We also lack impactful subs on the bench.

People want subs yet a knackered Greenwood or Rashford is still better than those 10 mins I saw from James. He’s awful.

Not too bothered, we dominated them for most of the game but poor finishing and some great keeping did us in, it happens especially in these one off games. People are going to try to make some grand statement but our tactics were solid and the performance was as well. It’s not like we didn’t turn up for it.

On to next year, and we no doubt need some fecking reinforcements in the market.

Poor finishing. Poor defending crosses.

Posters wanted us to play a back 4, we did, we conceded 2 goals in open play
Has nothing to do with the formation. We played well but poor finishing and a couple of mistakes cost us.

We need to invest in a handful of positions, that's what makes the difference. So that we can get to 60th minute of a game and actually have players that we can bring on that don't make us say 'ffs'.

Entirely down to Ole, not making changes at around 70 mins.
Players were tiring and becoming more sloppy. Whatever Rashford was contributing, was fading fast.
That was the time to bring on subs.
Seville has already made 3 changes and had brought on fresh legs, who were attacking players. Ole just sat there oblivious.
With 5 minutes to go, still no changes.
We deserved to lose just for that.

Extremely hard to take, we were by far and away the better side.

Now prepare for a meltdown in here. It's all good though, good thing we secured champions League football to be honest.

AWB and Lindelof pretty much to blame for both goals.

Playing twice a week is new for AWB so understandable to be dead at the end of his first season with us.

Lindelof has no excuses for constantly not marking his man.

Centre Back, Left Back and Right Winger still needed but who doesn't know that?

We lost because of missed chances and because Ole leaves the subs until the game is lost as usual.

When I saw De Jong coming in, I thought it would be over. Lack of finishing cost United, but there is no viable Plan B. The first team all looked tired. Need to get a proper rest before the new season, and Ed to finally do his job because this team wouldn't last playing pressing game whole season.

Writing was on the wall minutes before they scored when the game went to absolute pot for both sides and everyone was exhausted, needed to make changes at that point.

Lads need to have a break now get some rest now.

Great game of football. The more clinical side won. We really should have been out of sight with all those early second half chances. Poor misses or great defence/keeper, either way, we should have been well ahead. Need more quality - bench could have been decisive if we had that. Well done lads. Over to you Ed and co...

We were the better team. We didn't convert our chances and our defenders were absolute dogshit tonight.

Well, this SUCKED.

Clearly, we need reinforcements in the summer. And not just 1 or 2 players, we need some substantial investment. We have potential, but without reinforcements we are going to suck big time, next season.

p.s. WTF was that Lindelof giving attitude to Bruno after Lindelof shitted his pants during the second goal? Bruno can't tell him he needs to do better, now? feck that.

We were the better team. We didn't convert our chances and our defenders were absolute dogshit tonight.
They were. Williams is not ready at this level, clearly. He can play some easier PL games. AWB was horrible at tackles. Seems like once he got better in attack, he got worse in defense? Ugh. Lindelof clearly shitted his pants during the second goal. We could also have used some "magic" from goddamned De Gea. While neither of those goals were his fault, he didn't provide any outstanding saves, either. In contrast, Sevilla goalkeeper saved their asses.

Poor defending for both goals.
Rashford has been poor for weeks.

Time to improve the squad

Rashford was particularly poor, but one of those games. Don't take our chances and 2 mistakes and we're punished.

Disappointed to lose that, but it's more frustrating rather than not turning up.

Think tonight Ole sent message to board that we dont have any improvement in players to bring on once no subs were made until 87th Min. Rashford was brutal should of been taken off alot earlier in game and doesn't trust anyone to come on and change the game.

You have to question Ole. You just have to.

Lopetegeiu made a change at 50 or so, changing a good player who made us struggle.

Made 4 more changes, and of them scored the winning goal.

Ole waited until 87'th to make a change once we were a goal down.

Unacceptable.

Classic United. Get used to it boys and bookmark this post as we will be in the wilderness for years to come regardless of the recruitment.

Seven years since SAF left. Seven years guys. And every player is now unable to maintain a standard over the course of a season.

Feel that we have been so blessed with talent, results and success that this is our payback. Will be harder as fans to cope with as we grew up with the team an utter dominant force but now we are an also ran top six side that talks highly of our past success and has a decent cup run.

See Liverpool, Milan, Spurs, Arsenal etc.

Come to realise it and this will not hurt as much.

Magical Manchester United.
AWB should hang his head in shame, that was a proper 0/10 performance and cost the team a place in the final.

No idea how we managed to feck this one up, Sevilla didn't really do anything for 98 minutes but still somehow scored a couple. Gutted.

We need depth. We have absolutely no quality for a plan b. It's no a popular opinion but we have one valuable player in terms of transfer fee that is continuing to coast through games and be absolutely anonymous where it counts. Its time to sell him and reinvest

Don't understand why Ole doesn't like making subs, considering he spent most his career as one
Because our squad is shit, there is just no point.

We need to strengthen our starting 11 but more importantly our squad as a whole.
