Jose has to explain that convincingly or just resign. That is now more than "just one of those days" The current run is as bad as Moyes of LVG and no sign of it getting better anytime soon!

Poor?! Swap Mkhi for Rashford or Martial and you have pretty much our strongest starting attacking 11.
We had no pace in wide areas and a fellow who has been abysmal played for 42 minutes. It was close to our best 11 but those little changes make a big difference in attack, obviously.

I've been Jose in and pretty strongly, but this has been horrendous. Indefensible stuff today.

I think Real have broken him. Old Jose would have turfed out the deadwood in his first summer and he would definitely have hooked mkhitaryan after 30 mins today. Wtf has happened to him?

What a mess. Manager in a hotel. No players apparently incoming in Jan. Can't pass. Can't move. Don't have a backup striker. A board that seems to be tightening the purse strings, a manager that doesn't seem to give a feck, players that simply aren't up to the pressure of playing for us or players that are not good enough, more and more empty seats every home game.

We were fecking terrible today and the fact that we lost Lukaku after a few minutes shouldn't gloss over it.

There are big issues. What a December!
If his family bought a house in Manchester, would we score more goals?

Feel like we're in desperate need of some proper wingers who can deliver a proper ball into the box, and we could probably also do with a proper playmaker who can help unlock teams.

Seems these days we're the only ones struggling to un-park the buses laid in front of us.

Said it before and I'll say it again, we need better players and a different manager.

Sorry to say but this has been coming imo. We have not been the 2nd best team in the league. Simple as that.

We have no idea of how to attack. No idea of how to create chances apart form crossing it in and hoping for the best. Gets a little old after half a season.

Waste of 93 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

We look utterly clueless in attack. The blueprint to beating us or getting a result: sit back, frustrate and then grab a sucker punch when you can.

So ponderous in attack and unsure in midfield.

We need to overhaul our attacking coaching staff.

Also, I never want too see Mkhi in a United shirt again. We've been robbed blind by Dortmund.

What a complete shower of shite we have playing for us.

Also, the ref and his linesmen are blind, clueless pricks.

Obertans #1 fan.
Absolute sh*te
And he thinks we can challenge for the title....
We are falling faster than most could've predicted. A very average side. I reckon 2/3rds of our players aren't up to the standard. Someone needs to be accountable, and I think it is a lot more than that...
Not even surprised.
What on earth was that? Can't find words to describe that.
I hate football.
Toilet.

Toilet manager, toilet players, toilet!

But, Juan Mata will write a blog about how it's important to improve and keep believing and Chris Smalling will come out with some other barrell of shit as per usual, instead of doing it on the pitch

In a way, it perfectly sums up the club at the moment. All talk and no action
Quiz time.

Which of these quotes are from two years ago and which quotes are from today?

We don't deserve to be in top 4, this game was painful to watch, there's no creativity at all in our attacking just long boring balls and bad crosses and that is all. Lukaku should've scored that header by the way. I'm disliking the idea of Mou being here for another season.

Tbh Pogba hasn't been great either.

He is the best of a mediocre bunch. He has touches of brilliance , but he is not a leader. He goes AWOL far too often to be described a s leader. This team needs leaders and character , and of course a few decent attacking players.

Remember when we had a chance to go within 5 points of 1st with a win over City?

Everything we're seeing now is a result of that derby defeat. The players knew it was over then and subsequent performances have nosedived.

We are done.
I agree. I think we need a January signing to liven things up a bit. The hunger has gone the was there at the start of the season.

We're due a total overhaul. Changing managers is not enough. The team is infested and rotten from within with toothless, characterless, heartless losers. Mata is giggling with Soton subs when we're chasing a win in the last ten minutes. A scene like that was unthinkable and unimaginable under SAF.

No leadership, no organization, no motivation. We can throw all the money in the world on new players but until we get the heart, soul and balls that this team used to have under Fergie we ain't moving forward.

We will be 5 th soon. Probably 6th if arsenal keep sanchez and Ozil. Unless there is a squad overhaul, we wont get anywhere. Championship mug uptop, 32 year old winger as right back, pathetic left back, headless chicken in number 10 and an absolute donkey on the left wing yet Mourinho is the problem.

Worrying. You want to be positive but all the signs of a squad in the doldrums are there to see. No outfield player was anything other than bang average, while far too many were horribly poor. The tactics were useless.

The players look unmotivated. The manager looks unmotivated. Commentators, pundits and fans are all picking up on how obvious our struggle has become.

Bollocks to listening to more excuses in the post match. The best Jose can do is refuse to answer any questions and pay a fine.

Thought we'd walk that game and indeed we did. No fire or desire, just a bunch of tired looking players. Who'd have though all of of creative and attacking players would lose form all at the same time. Ref was shite and Southampton were wasting time from the 30th minute onwards. They were there for the taking. That's why we're not going to be champions anytime soon. Jose sure has his work cut of for him, getting the players fired up again is very much what we need.

Another disappointing result. Hope we can pick ourselves up soon and start getting the needed results. Also, hope Lukaku is okay and is able to play against Everton.

We look tired physically and in terms of ideas. No clue how we want to play, not keeping the ball and working it and crossing to players who are shit in the box.

Shaw was okay, defence was okay.

Seriously, does SAF have healthy issues? If not can't he do a Heynckes?

Wow, Jose's 3rd season syndrome has started early for United. No clear cut chances at all in the second half.

Putting in crosses for Rashford. Martial again not starting. No skill in our passes at all, just the usual predictive passes.

Gone from 2nd to 3rd.

We were 8 points behind City when we played them, a win would have got us to 5 points and a good title challenge. Excuses were laid out for Pogba, now i am certain that Lukaku's injury will be used as an excuse even through he has not been that great since October.

We have gone from 2nd to 3rd and winless in the last 3 games.

Getting more players is not going to solve the problem when we have no direction at all. All we do is put the ball out to the wing and hoping for a good cross.

No improvement from last season. There were a lot who were so convinced of our early form and started going off about how last season draws have been converted to wins this season. They have not.

Nothing to look forward to in the league now unless we up our game dramatically with Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool all looking better than us.

Hopefully we go far in the CL and who knows, manage to win the damn thing, but it is extremely unlikely to win with the football we play.

You can visibly see him getting frustrated. Pogba in that city side would be something else it has to be said. The players are failing here in my opinion given they are capable of much better as we saw earlier this season.

I was afraid of that after that fecking draw at Leicester. We're a very fragile team mentally, one terrible result is enough to destroy us once and for all.

A battle to secure top 4 it's then.

Dire. Not one player looked like they gave a shit. Pogba has been useless as captain. Mhkitarayan, Shaw, Rashford all completely useless. Mourinho brought nothing to the table, and if that's the best reaction he can inspire after Leicester and Burnley, he's wasting everyone's time.

Rashford played in his preferred position & he did nothing. The only flaw one could point out today was Mkhitaryan. Jose took too long to haul him off. Apart from that, only the CBS & De Gea deserve any sort of praise today.

If we only bought Perisic, if only the board did better and supported our manager. We dominated totally, stand behind your manager, we dominated, we're second and we would be 1st any other year. Plastic fans, go support City. Seriously though...

Several teams
Match was largely decided by an incompetent or dishonest referee. Man Utd toothless up front but should have been rewarded a penalty already in the first half.

Can people now stop asking for Rashford to be our starting centre forward, terrible in the air, and much too erratic with his finishing.

We could have played another 90 and not scored.

Unacceptable.
Played another 90 seconds you mean because that utd team did not even try until the last 5 mins . Much of that down to the so called captain and world class :lol: midfielder Mr pogba

United were rubbish but Southampton weren't running circles around anyone let's not be ridiculous.
In the 2nd half they were first to everything. Getting players into good positions. While we were trying to pass through their players. They were comfortably better than us while playing second gear.
