We MUST buy a new CB. Jones is trash. We need an aerially dominant CB who can prevent the madness of the last 10 mins

Heroics from David "GOAT" De Godly. And he probably wasted about 8 minutes on goal kicks, what a fecking pro

Herrera was absolutely everywhere, get that boy a contract now. Lindelof also had a fine game.

Jones was awful. Shaw was very sloppy. Very very shakey at the back still. Young and Matic really struggled as well off the ball.

Lukaku with an abysmal sub appearance. Static, ball watching, awful touch and running away from the ball.

Nothing is so common as the wish to be remarkable.
Very good performance. Rashford scoring the type of composure needed for a top quality striker. Just what you want to see.
But De Gea honestly kept us in the game to get 3 points. We desperately need a top quality CB. Quite a shame Bailly not stepping up as a quality player of his type would be quite fitting.
One sore point is the lack of concentration of critical phases from some players. Overall a brilliant win after a solid performance.

Good game - both sides played well - as a Spurs fan I'm gutted as honestly we had more than enough chances to probably win the game but come away with nothing due to uncharacteristic poor finishing.

My initial thoughts:

A terrific result.

A reminder that we have to plenty of work to do. Our front three (plus Pogba) is exciting but as a unit we couldn't match them in our general play.

De Gea is other worldly.

Jones and Matic are relics.

I've been huge critic of Fellaini, but we could have actually done with him second half in place of Lingard.

De Gea looked good but he didn’t save anything you wouldn’t expect him to save. Lindelof was where it was at today.

Great win. No doubt there will still be fans on this forum unhappy and find something to moan about.

Crazy how we had to wait until the 93th minute before one of our players closed down their wingers for a cross! Full marks to Dalot for that. Can't stress how much we need a replacement for Young, Jones, and Shaw.

If you tell me the interim manager replacing Mourinho will win the next 6 games out of 6, I would have said...give him the job permanently.

God mode DDG.
Marvellous pass from Pogba. Clinical finish Rashford.
Amazing teamwork.
Well done lads!

This.

Lots more to say and Dave is clearly MOTM, but he didn’t make a save you wouldn’t expect from him.

Great performance and win for the team. It was squeaky bum time during second half but we managed to pull it off.

De Gea saves go without saving but Lloris made a few critical saves as well. Pogba could have scored 2 or 3 himself. Great performance by everyone on the pitch today.

We won 6 in a row, lets win the next 6!

We creaked, we groaned but we held on. Some great defensive showings (despite some silly fouls and a bit of panic): Shaw great, Yougn and Joens good, Lindelof bloody excellent. Herrera really good too. DDG of course was MoM. really couldn't see us getting anything from this so thrilled with the result but boy do we need a world-class midfielder to hold the ball up and boy do we need a good winger

Under Mourinho we would have lost this game. Credit for the victory, but taking of the red tinted glasses, a win was not a accurate result. A draw was more fitting. However, perhaps if Spurs scored, we would improved on our performance again.

De Gea - just brilliant. Wow!

Lindelöf, Herrera and Pogba did really good as well.

Superb counter attacking football, with dogged defending second half. That was a United performance. We could have scored more and could have conceded a few but for Dave the save. Great credit to Lindelof, Shaw, Herrera, Pogba and Rashford; in fact every player can be proud of their performance. Excellent teamwork, great organisation and a record start for Ole.

Ole, ole, ole, ole, :D

Just saw a bit of bad news. Don't know where to put it, Rash and Alexander Arnold's brothers both held at gunpoint in a restaurant in Manchester, but seems they are fine.

Ole got his tactics right. He set this up beautifully. We still are a long way from challenging, and the amount of saves De Gea had to make proves that, but we've seen progress. Players have improved under Ole but the defence has to be priority come summer. If we do make top four, it will be a terrific achievement.

Interesting, DDG’s comments on what the new manager has brought to the team.

Ole just completely schooled Poch and made Poch looking desperate to get a goal, our counter-attacking still has a lot of work to do if we sit deeper.

Brilliant.

I'm not Mourinho but I still think we need better centrebacks.

That Rashford finish though. Miles better than anything Kane came up with today.

De Gea will get all the plaudits but Lindelof looked rock solid again. Beast in the air too.

Was really surprised to see Dalot play in midfield today. Lukaku was a bit meh, when he came on. Pogba in the second half should have borrowed some of Ander's fuel. DDG won us the game. Magnificent.
