FC Bayern is playing DC United right now in our first presesason friendly, with both the German (the "Deutschlandlieo" according to NBC captions) and the US anthem sung before the game. "Einigkeit und Recht und Reben" is apparently part of the lyrics, if I heard right.
Mané and Mazraoui making their debuts for Bayern, De Ligt on the bench. :drool:

Lineups:

DC United:
Kempin - Samake, Birnbaum, Pines, Najar - Canouse, Nyeman, Berry, Robertha, Smith - Hopkins
Subs: Alfaro, Greene, Hines-Ike, Odoi-Atsem, Djeffal, Durkin, Ku-Dipietro, Skundrich, Estrada

Bayern
Neuer - Mazraoui, Upamecano, Nianzou, Davies - Vidovic, Sabitzer, Gnabry, L. Sané, Copado - Mané
Subs: Mayer (Tor), Ulreich (Tor), de Ligt, Hernandez, Herold, Pavard, Stanisic, Coman, Fein, Gravenberch, Kimmich, T. Müller, Wanner, Zirkzee

Referee is aptly named "Matthew Franz".

Is this on tv anywhere?

I like Nianzou and I think he's a massive talent, if we're going to sell a centre back I hope it is Pavard.

Good news is both Phonzie and Mazraoui are playing and we're still lining up with a nominal back four @PedroMendez

You were just battering them so no I’m not that much of a Bayern fan to view an extended training session.

Who is playing in your back line? I like the look of the RCB
Nianzou, young French CB we snapped up from PSG youth a couple of years ago (20 year old by now), struggled with injuries so far and never got a run in the team yet.

DC United score. Not surprised to see that we concede as soon as Pavard is on.

Wow Minnesota United beating Everton 4-0 at the moment. Everton are in for a long season, Lampard will surely be sacked half way through the season if not sooner.

6- 2 in the end. But in all fairness to DC, they did manage to put up more of a fight than Barca did...2 goals more of a fight to be precise.

Lots of comments about other teams, like Everton and Arsenal but how about providing us with some details. Like the score in their matches?

Flipping around as none of these are great matches and I'm not invested in any of the teams, but:

Arsenal 2-1 Orlando City in the 77th minute;
Chelsea 1-0 Charlotte FC in the 73rd minute;
City 2-1 Club America at half;
Everton 0-4 Minnesota United at full-time

Finished Orlando 1-3 Arsenal

Martinelli, Nketiah & Nelson the scorers.

Played mostly the squad players first half with more of the first team playing 2nd half.

Chelsea vs Arsenal next pre season game.

Where are our resident Inter fans?

Watched both Inter games and Kristjan Asllani has impressed. A good understudy for Brozovic.

Did Patino play?
