Only 3 (Bailly, Shaw, Mkhitaryan… or 4 if you consider Valencia) of the first 11 players will be available to feature in this game and the following, so not much can be said about the overall quality of the team.
But it will be useful mainly to see if Mourinho's going for his 4-2-3-1 system and if a few trainings were already enough to shake off Van Gaal's possession bored football.
Also, where are some players going to play preferably, like Valencia (RB or RW), Blind (LB or CM), Blackett (FB or LB), Fosu-Mensah (RB, FB or DM), Herrera (CM or CAM) and Januzaj (RW or CAM).

He was called up to the England U19s squad for pre-Euro friendlies but then pulled out due to this injury so not because of international duty certainly.

I'd like to see will keane start over james wilson. I don't believe we have ever given will keane a solid run in the first team and I believe he works better as a sole striker to speed merchant/james wilson.
