Always trouble when this fat cnut refs a game.
He becomes active when he attempts to go for the ball from the offside positionI don't think Rodri was active personally.
So ridiculous that I was convinced my understanding of the rules must have been wrong. Really really poor for the linesman to miss it and then VAR missing it too is scandalous really.VAR getting that wrong is just ridiculously poor.
I agree, Mings has to touch the ball, he can't just leave it hoping for an offside.Because he’s taking advantage of his position on Mings’ blind side. I understand why some say as soon as Mings touches it then it becomes a new phase of play, but you can’t just ignore everything around that. For me it reeks of this new freeze framing VAR refereeing. Looking at things in isolation instead of the big picture.
He clearly gains an advantage from being in an offside position. That should be all there is to it.
Which was after MIngs touched the ballHe becomes active when he attempts to go for the ball from the offside position
What about the part when he tackled the defender and assisted the goal? I'd say that's pretty active mate.I don't think Rodri was active personally.
How can he not be he tackles the ball off mings?! That’s literally the definition of offsideI don't think Rodri was active personally.
Imagine the outrage if a decision like that went out wayThat genuinely feels rigged.
there’s no way that a linesman or ref should miss that, and then VAR does nothing?! That is absolutely shocking.
Rodri moved towards Mings before he received the ball. It’s not inconceivable that Mings got a call from someone and so rushed his first touch, or rushed his first touch because he knew he had a man behind him, and thereby influencing an opponent from an offside position, which makes him offside.Mings already had control of the ball, that's when Rodri started to be involved in the play, obviously not offside.
What? Are you serious? What about us!?Terrible decision but I'd rather City win games as I can't be having Liverpool winning the league again.
He tried to control a ball worried about about man behind him and Rodri tackled him before he could..not a chance in hell that's a new phase of playBut Mings played the ball and it is a new phase of play?
If that isn't active, what the feck is?I don't think Rodri was active personally.
We’d never hear the end of it. I hope this is talked about for a long time as city weren’t winning this tonight - they’ve been gifted a win. I’m fuming!Imagine the outrage if a decision like that went out way
