Cant wait to see the crestfallen look on the Spurs fans when Son is LB and Lamela RB when defending. And the four actual defenders all in the box. With Dier and Sissoko sitting just in front of the back six. Then hoof the ball to Arry, none of this modern football rubbish passing out from the back and wrestling control of the midfield with hard pressing. Just bypass the press route one style. Solid 0-0 draws, climb that table one point at a time!

I’m surprised Sissoko isn’t in Mourinho’s first starting XI as Tottenham boss. He’s been in good form and also fits Mourinho’s stereotypical midfield-type (albeit maybe he dribbles a tad more than Mourinho’s typical midfielder).

Alli needs to shape up. He has been atrocious with two years now and Mourinho won’t indulge him like Pochettino did.

Has to the first time I’ve rooted against Spurs all because of who’s in charge. Always liked them and wished them well but now they have that team destroyer in charge.

Could be two reasons, one is you hate Mourinho and want him to fail, enjoy meltdowns..
Other one is you are a Jose fan and want to see him do good.
Or maybe third reason, it is good to have him back in football.
Or fourth reason, bloody international break is finally over!

Roberto somehow staying in goal is the biggest selection today, Spurs are already 1-0 up in my mind.

I will go with 3 and 4

A very comfortable win for Spurs here. Jose will sort them out in the short term.

Interesting, Eriksen have been benched by Jose, I think it was the correct decision. I wish he would do the same thing when Matic was underperforming poorly

Without watching too much West Ham, I find it amazing that Mark Noble is still playing.

Oh is this this week already? I enjoyed last weekend where everything didn't go for Liverpool for a change.

Win 3-0 and Spurs is in 5th. Poch wasn’t even having a terrible season as people would believe.

so far I notice a lot of long ball and lack of interplay from Spurs, but a lot of directness. Definitely Mourinho type of philosophy on shown. Surprised he didn’t start Sissoko or Wanyama. Never expected Winks. Not surprised he went for direct Moura over technical gifted Lo Celso
