For a while I thought a team could get away with a shit GK if the overall performances from the rest were up to par but I have completely changed my mind about that. You absolutely need to have a solid and reliable GK, this also gives the rest of the team some much needed confidence.

I agree as far as the title is concerned. You can't win the league without a decent keeper. You could probably scrape top four with a less than average keeper.
