Both players had a foot on the box, the gap they showed for offsides was centimeters/millimeters, not a couple of inches.
Mike Dean's incompetence is something to behold.

They said at the start of the season there was gonna be some form of "attacker's benefit". Either use it or fecking don't.

What is strange about that image is that they have drawn the line deeper from Richarlison's foot, which makes it look like the line is further up the pitch. Look at the vertical line from the tip of his foot; it is much longer than the one for the Arsenal defender.
That line is clearly not drawn properly. I don't know whether that is the tool's fault or the refs in the VAR room. It so badly done.
Could they not just use GPS to manage offsides, now?
