Problems with this forum

Redcafe is going to shit. It's a shadow of the place it used to be, and this largely comes down to 2 problems

1) Each new set of mods is a downgrade on the previous set - thy get worse and worse. I mean, Karan mittal is a mod for fecks sake. Could the caf go any lower?

2) The fetish for stopping posters from starting new threads. It kills discussion when youre only allowed to post at the end of pre-existing 250 page threads full of the same gimps having circular arguments.

Can we please sort this shit out?

Making new threads is encouraged when it is necessary (see the 'Hazard attacks ballboy' as a good example, better having a separate thread for that than bumping the 'Eden Hazard' one). I've seen some stupid thread bumps from people thinking that making new threads isn't allowed and I don't know where they get that impression from.

That Zaha watch thread wasn't needed - mainly because a deal hasn't actually been done yet. When the deal is done go ahead and make it, but it is ridiculous to have a thread for something that hasn't been completed yet.

On a serious note: Have you ever taken a gander at Talking Reds by any chance, buddy? Posters on there start threads like we write posts on here. It's a cluster feck of monumental proportions. You'll get irritated if you spend one day on there. This is heaven compared to that hell.

I like the fact that there is one dedicated thread for each individual player and issue. Much easier to find information you are looking for rather than going through a plethora of threads. This site will go to shit the day you'll find 10 Zaha threads when you open the home page.

Im not going to pretend like I contribute much to make it better either. Not sure why Im even writing this post. Last few weeks Ive only felt like going into the 50k thread for some laughs and not much more.

I admit sometimes its annoying when a thread spirals off and people bicker but that's life and usually get told off pretty quickly (As its usually me) and it stops... then we get back on the subject and overall the level of football knowledge and english grammar here, is far superior to any other football forum, let alone just Manchester United forums...
