That's just random stuff because you don't like him. He doesn't have to bring anything to game apart from get the best contract for his clients.
Sure, because he's been allowed to go about it without any regulations and checks for whether his work is ethical, lawful and upholds the standards of football. Don't particularly care if you agree with that or not, you are in the small minority defending this fat bastard.

Half a mind that just keeping him next season and come what may with losing him after that might not be a bad shout.
We'd have got 6 years out of him.

There is a reason he has many high profile clients. He does his job even though he creates uncessary polemy.
You know, it never hurts to try to have a somehow balanced view on things. There are many reasons to be critical of him, but when players keep picking him as their agent, you should not be blind to the possibility that he´s also doing a good job for them. If you chose blind hate instead, well, up to you.
Yes we know he's good at his job. It doesn't mean fans he pissed off can't mock him. Trump was a good politician too btw.

Wow the nonchalance of a hazard Pogba swap. Pogba has hardly pulled up any trees here either.

Hazard or Pogba on the left. It’s Hazard all day long for me. I mean we play Pogba out of position don’t we?

Obviously with £50 million fee for us aswell.

Anyway we should focus on Grealish and Kane.

Like that means anything. I don't need validation or be in a majority for my opinion. In fact I enjoy being the devil's advocate.

Still hate the guy, and wish he would just retire or something. But a baseless claim is still a baseless claim irrespective of him being a cnut or not.

Haha he must have been so mad the Super League went tits up, it was going to fund the next 5 megatransfers involving his clients.

And also allow him to double or triple his agent fee demands. Vermin.
Extremley satisfying listening to him backtrack. twat

I don't know about that. Average one. He lasted one term after having pissed off everyone. Could have used some diplomacy.

Anyway, I'm fully aligned with mocking, or whatever esle we can do to prevent raiola from his antics and ill timed statements in the middle of the season (lynching would be best).

It is one of the reasons why I don't want to sign the likes of Haaland. He will be a great player but dealing with that agent again is just torturing yourself.

As for Pogba and a few other players, I think they might be waiting to see if United will be ambitious in this coming transfer window before they commit long term.

everything is pointing to a new deal. he is playing superbly and we have a good chance to win trophies again with a young squad that is developing with a good manager. so from a football point of view there is a good chance he wants to renew and we want to renew. from the business side it is also very likely that he will stay. there are not many clubs around who are able to pay the transfer fee this year or/and the salary in itself for a player that is superb but you need to give very much freedome in your system. for us for example he is best as a left sided attacker or with a free role in advanced midfield. to fit in a player 100 mio plus is also not easy for a real madrid etc - and with covid its harder

Look I didn't like the fellow but he was good enough a politician to become the US president. So as rubbish a president as many believe him to be, as a politician he was great considering he won the election despite having no real background.

Riaola asks for mocking from United fans with the way he conducts himself. So I'm all for it.

There's also the possibility his clients are on large working class kids with working class parents. In he comes with his bravado and salesmanship and the deal is done.

Maybe his PR outstrips his talent. How about an agent that earns you millions and isn't despised by the football community? That's the guy I'd be using.

Some of these clients are not kids anymore yet they stay with the most depised agent. Are they somehow locked into the agency or since he gets them good contracts while being controversial but not illegal they just decide to put up with it.

Crazy ! All these days we were trying to make him a DM and he is thriving now on a free left role.

I wouldn't blame him for asking to leave. He was promised huge. Jose as manager, Zlatan , Mkhi - that was actually a good window. We just couldn't keep that pace in the following windows and he felt cheated !

As I've said previously in here, I don't like him either, however:

The 2nd piece you linked kinda says the opposite to what you implied. He spent a great deal of effort freeing him from people that latched onto him when he was 13 that had him sign things which more or less screwed him over.

The first link is actually a good read, and as dirty as it feels, I have a bit more respect for him now and a better understanding of why players like him.

I still wish he would shut up and stop creating soap operas around players.

I do as well, he has deep connections and he brings incredible amounts of money. Doesn't mean his methods or intentions aren't malicious to the clubs and he has particularly acted against our interests on multiple occasions.

Yeah I sure there's an element of loyalty towards a guy they've been with since they were young and they're earning good money.

But remember these are still in general poorly educated guys. Poorly educated guys who are worth a fortune. Perfect for salesmen like Raiola.

It'll no doubt change. Players are starting their own agencies like we see in boxing and eventually an opportunist like Raiola won't have a place. He's a fart in the wind.

What is so funny? You should read more about how Raiola became Pogba's agent, it's all documented and available on the internet.
I'm not sure if you're continuing your trolling or if you're serious. Brainwashing is a serious and ludicrous accusation, and there is no hidden motivation because Raiola clients always do well for themselves. I understand we don't like him because he's not on the club or fan side. But surely you see his players love him

He's grovelling a bit, isn't he? Suddenly, it's no more what Pogba wants, but what the clubs want. He's lost a bit of his power.

Does he get a fee if Pogba signs on? If so, can we offer him a somewhat insulting one for all the shit talking? Maybe include a happy meal or 2?

Trump was a good politician? If you by that mean good at collecting votes, I agree. Otherwise, I beg to differ.

Agents in general work under very shady circumstances, so my comment doesn't apply just to Raiola. I aim specifically at him because he acts against the interests of our club and loves making it publicly, which continues to drag our name around the media.

You can't just say don't pay attention to it, everyone does, not just our fans. Every time Raiola speaks, he tries to weaken our position when it comes to negotiations, whether for a new deal or for a transfer.

We shouldn't pay crazy money to Pogba to tie him down to a contract. He has shown enough promise to deserve a new contract but he isn't indispensable to the squad like Bruno so shouldn't be heads and shoulders above the rest of the group. Also we have enough leverage in this market as no one can afford him and I doubt if he wants to risk being a free agent given his off-form he was a while back. That's a massive gamble for a player of his nature.

This coupled with his agent's tantrums next time Real are able to afford him would needlessly create tension within the players. Thankfully, he hasn't disrespected the club in anyway and I hope he continues to repay the faith Ole and the club have afforded him despite his agent needlessly trying to rile us up.

It surprises me just how antagonistic he always seems to be to United in the press.

Given how much money the club earns, how much we've spent in some windows post-SAF, how much we've spent on agent fees and how many of Raiola's players we've bought at a time when some other clubs allegedly won't deal with him, as well as how playing for a club of our profile raises a player's endorsements - I don't get his tactics of pissing-us off so publicly.

I get that he acts for his clients and basically just wants his agent fees, but seems counter-productive to piss-off one of the biggest clubs in the world unnecessarily.

He's been trying to leave for years, why not just take a pay cut? Or is it just about earning a shitload of money

A player with Pogbas injury record the last 2 seasons can't be on £400,000 a week.

He's an important player in the squad, but for the amount of money he'll ask for his next contract, you can't defend that type of money with what Pogba is currently producing. He's also responsible for some seriously questionable defensive blunders several times that have directly cost us goals.

I think Paul Pogba is a great, colorful character that I love to have in the club. He's a product of the Manchester academy and this is his home. It's also his time to go to his next adventure unless he wants to sign to a reasonable contract, which he of course won't do.

Someone does need to slap Raiola over the nuts with a wet spoon because suggesting that Humpty Dumpty Hazard is someone we should trade for, is just outright offensive.

It looked an incredible window, with Bailly on top.

In hindsight, it's arguably true that the Maguire/Wan Bissaka window was more important to overall stability.

And here come the Riaola defenders. Right on cue
Funny how one person who is world class in his job is hated this much. And hate comes from the fact that he does the best for his players (and himself of course).
What should he do? Care about clubs? His style is annoying and he behaves like a twat maybe but he is doing best for players.
Clubs are to blame here, not Raiola.

United should sell. He is not worth the ridiculous salary and if we keep him next year then our season will caught in this circus

De Ligt and Kulusevski in a swap deal for Pogba could be interesting....maybe the fat slob could get to work on that one!
I’d do this. Or De Ligt and McKennie. Or straight up for Chiesa.

How about Varane for Pogba straight up? Obviously, we’d do Valverde for Pogba.

He’s a self-serving tw*t. All agents are out for the best deal possible for them and their clients, his public bitching is simply to boost his own fat profile.

Pogba is better than all of those players. In my view, if we get a CDM to play both Pogba and Fernandes in most games we've got one of the best midfields in the world.
