Saw him tonight against Oxford Utd, can't say he set himself apart from the rest of the herd.
Onward and upward.Set to join Birmingham City on loan. Could be the making of his career, but knowing him he'll probably throw this opportunity.
Well considering West Ham got him in January and he made 1 appearance for them all season shows he hasn't exactly impressed for them in training has he? For a player of his talent he should be starting in this West Ham team, or on the bench at the very least. Not being loaned out to a championship team.Don't see why being loaned out necessarily shows he's doing badly? Had he till been with United it would have been no surprise to see him loaned out this season, and he's going to a top Championship side - give him a season there and he may be ready to step up to the Premier League the season after. It's a pretty standard procedure with young players....
Maybe Rav can actually teach Marlon a few things. Like how to assault a lass and avoid her pressing charges.Hopefully one of Birmingham's wiser old heads like Marlon King will take him under his wing and give him the guidance he so sorely needs.

I hope he fails and goes down Leon Knight path or something, the twat.Good luck to the lad. Hope he gets his head down and pushes on.
Oh. Ok.I hope he fails and goes down Leon Knight path or something, the twat.
I'm not giving a toss either way, is what I was saying. You don't have to have sympathy for him, but hoping he flushes away his talent is another. He's obviously had a hard life growing up in the wrong area, and hopefully now this is a chance for him to show his obvious talent.
He's only a kid!
That's fair enough.I'm not giving a toss either way, is what I was saying.
He might well play for our rivals at some point if he do capitalize on that talent of his, though. That's fair enough.
I feel pretty bad for him though. I hope he has success, because I don't want to see all that natural talent go to waste. Especially because he isn't playing for our rivals.
Think the difference is the size of the club - being loaned out by Utd is a reflection of the quality and number of first team players. But with the supposed potential of Morrison he should have been pushing for playing time at a club the size of West Ham, not being loaned out to the Championship.Don't see why being loaned out necessarily shows he's doing badly? agreed.....but now I can't wait to see Pogba put out on loan to a Serie B team :-)Urgh, what the feck is a player of Morrison's talent doing getting loaned out by West Ham? It's ridiculous - he could've been starting for us by now. For all the fuss about Pogba, Morrison was the more advanced talent in my opinion.
That needs to stop. First of all, he is not a kid. 2nd, there is something at stake her. Cant say I feel sorry if privileged people feck up their lives just because they are thick or whateverCleverley matured from good loan seasons and so did Wellbeck. okay they didnt have the same off-field issues as ravel, but we knew kids like that. some grow up and some dont, but if the gamble pays off then Westam will have a very good player on their hands.
I'm not sure i but into this "feck ravel" stuff on this thread though. His a kid.
So was Danny Welbeck.I think its sad because its not entirely his fault that he is in the position he is in right now. He was a product of one of the worst areas in all of England arife with gang violence and drug use.

Alot of people might say "oh, he had a chance to play for Manchester United so he should leave that all behind" but its never that easy is it?
Its a pity that his career isn't going in the right direction but im shocked at some of the ill will people wish on him.
It is a part of growing up though. You reach an age where you hit crossroads, for Ravel he was at an age where he should have had some bit of maturity about him to decide what to do. Unforunately he stuck to the way he knows best, and that is piss through life rather than grasp it by the neck and drive on.I think its sad because its not entirely his fault that he is in the position he is in right now.
