We'll go easy in the first round, in case people don't know that it has started. Post round 1, 6 hours per pick else we move on.

PMs to the person following you is a rule. Lest which, you will be penalised.

I'm PMing mightberight

If I miss my pick, what happens? Do I get two picks in the next round?

Once the person above you (and below you in the reverse round) make their pick and PM you, you will have 6 hours to make your pick. If you don't the person after you will continue. You will be allowed to pick once you join again but you will miss out on the players that have been picked.

So long story short, you get to pick as soon as you join back.

Why the minimum of 50 matches rule? I'd like to be allowed to gamble with who I want.. 14*11 is a hell lot of players.. we'll be well and truly scraping the bottom of the barrel here

There are 357 players which fulfill this criterion.

We can relax it to 40 or even 35 if people want. I just kept it that way since it removes the unknown factor out since alot of voters and participants are young.

We'll wait for a while DD. Also, there are no debut restrictions. I've replaced that by the minimum match rule post 1990. Do you Think 50 is fair or 30 should do?

@tb: its Easy. We will keep picking one player each from top to bottom and then bottom to top of the order keeping in mind the rules. You will have 6 hours once the person before you picks.

Can we please reduce it? Make it 35? At 10 ODIs per year, you'd need players who've played regularly for 5 years(unless they're Indian). Quite a long time.

Teams like England usually play much less the number of ODIs..

I think debut restrictions should be there since people don't give any weightage to people they have not seen.

the minimum matches post 1990 covers that. We'll make it 35 though.

The debut thing is a bit weird. There are many good well known players before the 1990 mark. If I keep it 1985 then alot of unknown players come in

Oh.. are we allowed to only pick players who debuted after 90?
