Thanks Bryan - guessing this IS from the press?Basically it will be a 2 match ban minimum by the look of it.
Why do we keep taking this shit? Seriously why the feck?

Trevor Brooking.... he is bitter his beloved west ham lost to us.feck me, how desperate are the FA to try and derail our season?
A fine would be fair enough, but since when does a player get a two match ban for swearing?
Who the feck is in charge here, the FA or the tabloids?
Yep.Thanks Bryan - guessing this IS from the press?
Why do we keep taking this shit? Seriously why the feck?
I take it you didn't watch what happenedThe 2 match ban sounds about right. What planet are you lot living on if you think it is acceptable for a footballer at the highest level to stick his face in front of a camera and venomously shout expletives at it, in the knowledge that is is being broadcast to millions of people around the world?
Exactly...The FA should now ban the BBC????Let's also not forget that he was using language so foul that it was suitable to be repeated on MOTD.
I'd say the same regardless of the player.Rednev thinks is a fair call, now THERE's a surprise
Neither was the behaviour of the cameraman tbf. Got himself square in front of Rooney - right up close - camera lens atring him right in the eyes for ages - I'm not surprised Rooney wanted to know just what the f**k he wanted. He chose to stare into it and address it in the way he did.
What he did was not normal behaviour, and I can't see how anyone can consider it acceptable.
sadly yes.So is he out for Fulham & City?
So it genuinely seems the trick is not to look at the camera while you're swearing?
That's genuinely astonishing.
Two completely different scenario's. Rooney's outburtst was in a cusp of a moment after a game-winning goal. Players always do crazy shit when they score goals. Yes, he swore. But he apologised STRAIGHT after , and that should be the end of it. How many times do you hear swearing after a goal ? Or players mouthing " GTFI ". Quite a lot.
Drogba went OUT of his way to get to the camera, stare down the lens, and say "fecking Disgrace " to which he didn't apologise for , or at least not in the same timeframe in which Rooney released his statement.
Although the FA's decision to charge Rooney was , as Drogba would say , A fecking disgrace.
now that is just stupidOf course the FA being headed by an ex Bertie has nothing to do with how United are dealt with
Should he plead guilty. So is he out for Fulham & City?
Who has done the same as Rooney and got away with it?Wow, the FA really want to use us as an example. What I want to know is why other club's don't get such sanctions for exactly the same or similar offences.
So how come they haven't charged Reina for using the same word to the ref after having a penalty justly given against him? Should a campaign begin for that?I'd say the same regardless of the player.
And that can't be said for most people in this thread. Had John Terry done the same thing on the weekend, the Caf would be calling for him to be punished and I think you know it.
You're talking as if he's had a few seconds to think what he was going to do... It's just a spur of the moment thing, and it's silly. Shame for the apology he issued later. No point in those, apparently.to be honest Rooney is his own worse enemy , he knew what he was doing and he knew what would come of it.
I'd love it if someone challenged the FA to ban him but lose him from their national team and precious sponsorship events. That'd put them right in their place but sadly it'll never happen. Why is everyone saying and hoping he will retire from England? No player would do that, i have never heard of any who did it in spite of what the gimps at FA do to him fair or not
He knew it'd result in a 2 game ban?to be honest Rooney is his own worse enemy , he knew what he was doing and he knew what would come of it.
He is a very angry man and need to sort his temper out.
But I also think the FA charge is bullshit , he and many other players have been seen swearing on TV many many times.
Anybody else but Rooney and nothing would of been said.
I am not going to go down the route of FA against United ,because it is bollocks , but the 5 match ban for SAF and the what looks like 2 games ban for Rooney does make you think.
We get made an example of 9/10 and when you get made an example off, the punishments tend to be different. Thats the reality and I don't think anyone is just imagining it....so it's not a conspiracy. We just get treated harsher.
We'll copesadly yes.
Every single time players go to celebrate someone will shout something along the lines of 'fecking come on' or 'fecking get in'. The only difference between that and his is that they weren't looking directly at the camera. They're just as reckless about who hears it and the language is no less foul and abusive. The trick is to not swear right into the camera lens, like most players don't.
