Roy Keane

This isn't a thing.

Stop trying to make it happen Gretchen.

In any case it just doesn't mean a thing as long its sthg that happens from time to time, it's what Ian said, you don't have to go to an extreme, I agree with Keane, but sometimes we do what we feel and cannot manage everything, way less being "happy/joyfull".

I was referring to "Cron" as an abbreviation for Cristiano Ronaldo. I honestly don't know what your point was because I stopped reading when I saw that.

, my bad

If you need use a abbreviation then use a generally recognized one like CR7 - I had no idea who Cron was!

I personally think players like RNstl and VnPs would be fine with Keane slamming them for missing chances.

Yeah, not the usual way to name him, but come on, C.Ron or Cron was quite used at a time.

C.Ron yes, never seen Cron used before though

It was quite used and still can be read, not as much as CR7, CR, CRIS, but believe me, I didn't invented, thought would have been cool.

PD: one quite common for spanish speakers it's El bicho

Roy talked mainly about Garnacho not letting the idiots rob his moment, he's right, yet in a very Roy style.
Ian tried to make him understand that sometimes, we as persons cannot managed that, that we cannot control everything we feel
Roy bizarrely couldn't understand that from Ian and it's even worse because obviosuly Ian was talking from the prespective of his very own traumatic experiences that Roy perfectly know about.

PD: In fact Roy once absolutely bullied Cron for missing an easy chance, in his view he was being cheeky and later Cron scored and didn't celebrated the goal.

But Ronaldo had just been roasted by his captain, Roy Keane.

Garnacho got told to improve his touch by a random called Faz.

Just to clarify, I'm not dissing anyone, I was just pointing like Ian did to Roy, that nothing it's that extreme, that sometimes an emotion can take control, instead of us controlling it.

The PD, was because I've just remember that incident with one of the most proffesional players ever that actually did the same thing and Roy was not only there, he was the one that generated CRON's (I'll pursuit the copyright since many here never seen it) lack of celebration.

For real, there is no debate here, it's just nothing, the only thing that actually got me surprise it's Roy not seeing that Ian in many ways was talking from his very own experiences, being a really humble and tough fella, whose not afraid to actually share that he was bullied and sometimes anger and fear took over him. Roy sometimes it's too much Roy.

I don’t think its a big deal really but it'ss just that it's not actually the same.

Ronaldo had just done something silly and got roasted by his captain. A pretty fierce captain at that.

For Garnacho, what's actually happened. Like I said, a random nobody made a comment about his first touch. I'm struggling to understand sulking as a reaction.

But anyway, it doesn’t really matter. What matters is Garnacho keeping that ego under enough control to keep improving.

I quite like El Bitcho as his name

Wonder if that was the whole exchange or if there was more to it.

He’s widely disliked in Ipswich but it’s a bit ridiculous. We had multiple underperforming managers over a decade-long period, of which he is one. He only gets sh1t because he’s Roy Keane though.

Considering his awful managerial stint at Ipswich, it’s probably some drunk fan yelling at him over shit that took place 15 years ago.

I didn’t think he did that badly, did he?

Honestly, not that bad, certainly no worse than lots of others. It’s drunk idiots who probably can’t even remember our other managers names from around that time. It’s because he’s Roy Keane. And I guarantee you they’ll be in the pub now boasting about it, and getting a bit of small-town clout from other local idiots.

The steward is telling the fan to come down? fecking throw him out. They shouldn’t be given the freedom to interfere with people doing their jobs. You can shout and flip off players during the game that’s fine. It’s part and parcel of the game but not like this.

"Meet me behind the bike sheds after school where I'll be waiting for you and definitely won't find a last minute excuse to avoid the fight"

Yeah, Keane shouldn't react though, he's there working, he shouldn't give these twats the time of day.

Anybody seen the clip of Keane offering to meet an Ipswich fan in the car park afterwards?
Never change Keano!

Edit: My feed hadn’t refreshed!

Hard not to react when someone is abusing you in front of colleagues. Thought Keane handled it well, personally. He didn't meet fire with fire, he just went over to him and said we'll discuss it outside in an attempt to get the drunken idiot to shut up.

I think he's got a lot of pent up frustration feeling like he's not been given due credit for his managerial career, and instead looked upon as a failure as manager. A lot of people like to sum him up as some sort of dinosaur who is stuck in the 90s.

Ipswich fan having a go at Keane because of what he did 15 years ago while Don't Look Back In Anger plays on the PA system. Superb!

Funny that. Ipswich was one of the away grounds where I never saw any aggro. Went there one time when we won 2-0 with Garth Crooks and Arthur Graham scoring. Went into a pub after the game to kill time before catching the train back to London, and we were drinking with the locals and having a good time. But I suppose this had nothing to do with United but Keane's relationship with their club. What did he do there to piss them off?
