Panic over, Australia has beaten Italy 40-27 in Brisbane. Australia was in trouble with 6-7 minutes to go leading by just one point but they've avoided the ultimate ignominy and won by a comfortable enough margin in the end. The games against New Zealand in late August will be one way traffic unless there's an enormous improvement from the Wallabies. For now though, go the Lions!

Well... for how it was looking in the middle of that half, that's a good end for the Lions. To win though, I think like for Ireland, they almost need attrition and reshuffling with injuries or whatever to the ABs to get them out of their groove.
