With respect to the corona crisis, I agree we've done well so far. Although the manner in which the government came to fruition has been somewhat of a joke as well.I don't know, I feel like our government is still doing a lot better than several other countries. It seems like they've been taking the right decisions when needed.
That wasn't the point I was making, just that he was so well he could do this, the article went on to say he was concerned for those he had come into contact with recently, especially his mother. It would be difficult for him to pass it on just by running past someone. If he stopped and talked to someone for five minutes and stood close to them, yes.
Something like 80 to 90 percent of cases in China were spread in the homes. Because we breathe it out and it hangs in the air or it drops onto surfaces.
Yea its turning into a cesspit there.15k new cases in the US today and they're now up to 100k. Feels like they've completely lost control of it.
That has to be the most hilariously anti way of describing the future King of England that I've ever heardThat's seems a bit of stretch, Charles is nothing more than a pointless celebrity living off state benefits and Boris is a elected official. There's a massive difference imo. Also while it's easier to test one person than millions of Nhs workers, doesn't mean it should be the option we chose.
Now having all of that I don't think we should have tested Boris, at least not this early anyway. He did after all say we'd have to take this one on the chin. At least give him a couple of rounds against the virus.
Did they ever have control of it?15k new cases in the US today and they're now up to 100k. Feels like they've completely lost control of it.
Yes, however many scientists say that a self-test often is highly unreliable, often down to 30% while a lab test is much more accurate, 80%+. Also I read that there will be a lot of testing to verify the anti-body tests before they can be released on the market, and that this also will take time. Seems to me like we will not get extensive anti-body testing done before the peak is already here. There needs to be a total population antibody test, then the picture will be so much clearer, no recriminations from me that it isn't there yet as that is unrealistic, but hopefully it is close, as this is the only thing that will make things clear, and perhaps allow normality to resume in the short term.
Which is why people should stay at home as much as possible and not constantly find ways to decipher new loopholes in the govt stay at home orders, and keep going out arguing that the order is not clear enough.I'm starting to believe a lot more people than we think have or have had this virus with little or no symptoms whatsoever.
They never had control of it as they are lead by the biggest imbecile ever to hold public office.15k new cases in the US today and they're now up to 100k. Feels like they've completely lost control of it.
You can still go out and get stuff it’s not total lockdownHave to make an early trip to the shops in the morning. I've literally nothing in the fridge. Its kinda dumb not giving people a day to get their shit together before total lockdown. I'm buying a load of food. Good thing I dont eat much anyway.
Have you been living in a cave on the moon?Have to make an early trip to the shops in the morning. I've literally nothing in the fridge. Its kinda dumb not giving people a day to get their shit together before total lockdown. I'm buying a load of food. Good thing I dont eat much anyway.
Have you been living in a cave on the moon?
What was it?Leo Varadkar just quoted a line from the Terminator for feck sake
Bigger country, and much more testing going on than in any other country. I don't think it is worse than in big European countries.15k new cases in the US today and they're now up to 100k. Feels like they've completely lost control of it.
There is no fate, just what we make for ourselves. What was it?
Hasta la Vista, baby. What was it?
Can you post a summary, it's unavailable to most European countries. From allergy ‘red eye’ to respiratory crashing
So, rapid breathing, cough + these eye symptoms means you propably do not have much time to get help and should get to a hospital asap.
Absolutely certain.I'm starting to believe a lot more people than we think have or have had this virus with little or no symptoms whatsoever.
Phased Plasma Rifle, 40 watt range. What was it?
Haha! That’s very dramaticThere is no fate, just what we make for ourselves.
I swear theyre just google searching inspirational quotes now.
But if it's serious enough to need a lockdown, they're not going to encourage everyone to storm to the shops all in one go are they? That'd ensure extra spreading.Have to make an early trip to the shops in the morning. I've literally nothing in the fridge. Its kinda dumb not giving people a day to get their shit together before total lockdown. I'm buying a load of food. Good thing I dont eat much anyway.
Listen. Understand. That virus is out there. It can't be reasoned with, it can't be bargained with. It doesn't feel pity of remorse or fear and it absolutely will not stop. Ever. Until you are dead. What was it?
The next few months are going to be completely defined by what is revealed when anti-body tests become widely availableI'm starting to believe a lot more people than we think have or have had this virus with little or no symptoms whatsoever.
Everyone hanging waiting to see if an off licence is openWhen will they announce the list of essential businesses?
I cut out the most informative parts. (There were no "real pictures" of eyes like this.) :Can you post a summary, it's unavailable to most European countries.
Good thing I can't view it. What you've written alone nearly sent me running to the hospital. From allergy ‘red eye’ to respiratory crashing
So, rapid breathing, cough + these eye symptoms means you propably do not have much time to get help and should get to a hospital asap.
I need your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle. What was it?
Cheers palI cut out the most informative parts. (There were no "real pictures" of eyes like this.) :
Nurse Chelsey Earnest told CNN that as she worked with coronavirus patients at the Life Care Center in Kirkland, Wash., she began to notice that the sickest ones had a single thing in common.
“It’s something that I witnessed in all of them,” she told CNN. “They have, like ... allergy eyes. The white part of the eye is not red. It’s more like they have red eye shadow on the outside of their eyes.”
Rapid breathing and a cough were the other two hallmarks, she said.
“Several reports suggest the virus can cause conjunctivitis and possibly be transmitted by aerosol contact with conjunctiva,” the American academy of Ophtalmology said Sunday in a note to its members.
“We’ve had patients that just had the red eyes as the only symptom that we saw and go to the hospital and pass away,” she said. “I’ve even had the disaster medical control physician say, ‘Do they have the red eyes?’ And I will say yes. And he’ll say, ‘I’ll find you a bed.’ It’s just something about this, the way that it affects these patients.”
Deary me. What a prick indeed.Yeah they probably are overworked, and it must be hard to remember to always keep a 2m distance from people over an 8+ hour shift.
From the little i've experienced it the staff in most places seem to be really professional about it all. The only problems i have seen is some customers who can't or won't get on board with it. On monday before i finished work i was in a garage with about 12-15 people all queuing 2m apart right to the front door. Then in waltzes one guy undeterred by everyone else complying with the social distancing, walks past everyone and butts in front of a lady about to be served and throws £40 on the counter and says diesel pump 6. Tosser.
