Well if anything, this match put an end to the stupid claims that we're in for the title or favorites for top 4.

Need more from Mata, really don't think he affects the game for 90 minutes.

Poor performance again. Poor subs some very poor individual performances and yet another injury.

    3-5-2 has to be scrapped.

    That was utter crap.

Evans should not even be on our bench, much less starting for us.

Mata lightweight and easily brushed aside vs physical opposition.

Rooney pinging useless balls to the wings from midfield.

We're still third though, could be a lot worse.

I like LVG but his insistence on the shitty 3-5-2, on his 'philosophy' and RVP, and questionable subs make it so frustrating to be a United fan at the moment.

Stoke could and should have won this, they had the better chances overall and defended better than us.

Our away form is abysmal and has to improve.

Every time we go forward you can see that regardless of where the ball is we are trying to work it in to a cross. We are probably the worst team at crossing, yet they persist.

Next game (after Yeovil) there are no excuses (barring new injuries) for now not starting Shaw, Rafael and Herrera and going to a back four.

This is something we are missing. As you say we would be battering them to try get the winner .

Bloody draw against Stoke . Not in my view good enough.
Plenty of teams have slipped up against Stoke, it's the performance was the disappointment. Why play long ball all the time. The defence is a shambles from what everyone is saying. Is he going to do something about it or are we going to hope they don't do too much damage. A couple of them will be gone this summer.

Type of game you win in a title challenge....going for third though, a draw at Stoke is a worthy result.

We barely deserved the draw , if even that , it was a stone wall penalty with the Smalling handball.

We can reel off the excuses all day long but we are just not enough at the moment and top 4 is going to become a real battle now.
Bollocks, we also had a stone wall handball penalty shout.

The scoreline is as a result of the inability to produce a final ball for the strikers to work with.

Januzaj has become so poor. He's way off the standard required. Evans was a disgrace as was Jones.
And wtf is going on at training?
Seriously, young and shaw both limp off.
We're constantly putting out makeshift sides, it's doing my head in.

The only thing, and yet the biggest thing by a mile, I would gladly take back from the Moyes era would be our away form. Being shit at home and good on the road was bad last year, but being good at home and shit on the road is as just as bad this year.

 ten games unbeaten, 3rd in PL , shit load of injuries, playing against a team of kickers , just what do you want him to do , please tell us?
And yet it's not excuse for not being able to play proper football. Our defensive woes run far deeper than simple injuries. Our attacking play can be worked on, especially with players like Falcao, Rooney, Mata, Persie, Carrick and Ander available. Simple things like making players aware of how to use space, and how to switch the tempo on. They're supposed to be world class right?

    Calm down mate
He has every right to say it. Personally, I would have said the same.

edit: the people on Sportsnet (Canada) are talking about that 10-game unbeaten run. I don't give a feck; they should say about our 3 draws in the last 4 matches.

3-5-2 is rearing its ugly head again. Having three CBs who have no capabilities to make any offensive contribution really hurts us in games like this. The three of them just passing back and forth between them and eventually pinging the ball toward the opposition is extremely frustrating.

Draw away at Stoke - "van Gaal is shit!"

Win the next game - "van Gaal is a genius, world class manager, anyone doubting him is deluded."

Stoke are never easy to play against especially in these condition, and we had no physicality or pace in this team to speak of. I wouldnt go into meltdown over this

I just can't get my head around the fact that Rooney, Mata, Falco, RVP can't have more than 5 shots on goal.

    The team seems unbalanced.

We've played this 3-3-2-2 for a number of games and

I don't think too many people really swallowed that bit of kidology. Our away form hasn't been anything like that required for champions.

We used up all our save points and now Liverpool and Arsenal can join the race.

This game was shocking and we are lucky not to lose.

Ill make a list over things that needs to change.

    - 3-5-2 doesnt work

    - We need a new CB pair.

    - Adnan needs to be loaned out.

    - Falcao needs to play a full game.

    - We need to rush Di Maria back because he almost the only one that beat a man 1v1.

    - WE need fellaini believe it or not to come inn and be threat in the air and fight us back when we struggle to get up.

    - Evans and fletcher are done in this club

    - Rooney need to leave midfield and we cant have two 10 on the field at all time.

What a load of shite. Team creates less scoring chances for the strikers than the teams battling for relegation. Stroking the shite out of the ball on the halfway line might look good stats wise, but scoring goals wins matches.
