If he leaves Liverpool - and English football - I will cry with happiness. Too good to be true.

It would be funny if Real, the club which couldn't accept Mourinho's behavior, would sign Suarez.

So the press have wilfully fabricated quotes blaming themselves for him wanting to leave? Okay.

It's probably more about the quote being lost in translation.

I guess it's one of those where he was maybe hoping the English media would take note, or simply putting blame on them for his own reputation's sake in his own country.

He'd be good for Bayern but unless they got rid of Robben they don't really need him, especially with most likely getting Lewandowski.

Going to be interested to see if they can keep ahold of him. If they can get 40m or more for him, it could be a good thing in the long run - all depends how it's spent I guess.

Wouldn't put it past them to take that 40m+ and put it all on a 2/3 combination of Ince, Mcmanaman and Shaw. 'Who have the media most recently touted as the next English world-beater?' 'Buy all using a blank cheque - let them decide how much we pay them'

Suárez: "I love LFC, but I have a wife and daughter, and I'm not prepared to tolerate the English press any more. I have spoken to Brendan Rodgers. He knows what I want and he understands my situation."
Sounds like Suarez gave Brendan three envelopes and Liverpool wasn't on any of them.

Nasty English media hounding poor Luis out of Liverpool.

To be fair though, in Uruguay, leaving Liverpool is a sign that you truly love the club.

If he wants to have a better relationship with the press why doesn't he try not acting like a total cnut all the time?

I agree with Suarez. The English press goes too far with their constant highlighting of cheating and unsportsmanlike behaviour. Why can't players be allowed to dive and to bite people in peace?

After how the scousers worship him like a hero and will turn him into a martyr when he leaves, I really really want this to be true.

I do think he will go to Real, this close season or next. Would not be shocked if they cashed in now, should be a big offer.

Someone with an account on RAWK needs to go over there and point out how we control the media thats been vilifying poor Luis Suarez. Their response and rants should keep us entertained while we wait for twitter rumors

Just listened to Suarez interview...

Sorry for delay. And....and it doesn't sound good from LFC's point of view. The old 'come and get me plea'.

Suarez interview hasn't been lost in translation, no. Translations I've seen accurate.

Football, bloody hell.
If he leaves, just thinking of RAWK, it makes me so happy. Imagine the boycotts and revenge missions proposed by the fans. Imagine the blame being tossed about, imagine the banners and the T-shirts. Imagine the hatred towards the FA and SAF.

Probably not true but imagine the reaction and fears of the dippers!
Torres broke that threshold for most of our fans (not me, I was happy with the money).

Just reading that there is a clause in his contract but it may be in excess of 40million (Tony Barrett).

Him leaving for silly money wouldn't have us crying in our milk. We'd probably call him a racist, diving, cnut on the way out. ;)

I don't think RAWK will be too against him, or Liverpool fans in general.

They genuinely will feel that Fergie has control of the media and manipulated them against him, and that they have turned him away.

They won't accept that he's left for a bigger club, a better club, a chance of trophies, or more money.. It'll be 'if it wasn't for bacon face piss can Fergie and his Derren Brown mind control shit over the media, Suarez would have probably retired at Liverpool'

Suarez doesn't give a flying feck about the press - it's just a sop to the scousers.
Playing them like a fiddle. You'd think it would be obvious to them, wouldn't you?

Considering the silly money track record at Liverpool it will be interesting to see what transpires if it is all true.

Sturridge and Coutinho were good buys. I know it's early days, but anybody can see that their potential easily outweights their cost. Even if they ended up flopping, their age pretty much guarantees that they'd recoup the cost.

Kenny and that Damian Commolli*** guy have both left - and they've stated that signings won't be decided by Rodgers (I think).

Liverpool: 7th place. No European football. Stewart Downing.
Real Madrid: 2nd only to Barcelona. Champions League semi-finalists. Cristiano Ronaldo. Obscene wages.

Yeah, it's the English press driving him out. Obviously. I bet some RAWKites will actually fall for it. Suárez is thriving on their paranoia and self-pity.

Would Real really buy them though? I assume that means Higuan is off, and possibly Di Maria, give us Di Maria, thanks.

Híguain looks almost certain to join Juventus so they'd be left with Benzema - who's been underwhelming - as their only recognised striker. Wouldn't surprise me if they bought two. Suárez would fit the bill.

I'm not even sure he'd fit in at Madrid. Would he be happy to play second fiddle to the likes of Ronaldo and Oezil?

Red Yankee is human scum.
I am with Cina on this.

Suarez is not a prolific goal scorer, more of a support striker. Is that what Madrid need? Someone like Cavani or Falcao would suit them better.
