Federer in big trouble. This kid looks fanstastic. Can't help but wonder if this is the shock that breaks him. Fark.

The way you wrote it made it sound like Federer was 2 sets down and serving to stay in the match or something. Its only the first set...

Thiem out and got bagelled in the last set. Embarrassing stuff, I know grass isn’t his strongest surface but at least try to improve.

Thiem looks gone. Told you guys Nadals draw will get tougher as Querry is better on grass.
Yeah zero surprises about an early Thiem exit. Even a Raonic, who is absolutely crap now, would be a bigger test than him on grass. Thiem really needs a good USO to avoid the clay court specialist tag getting attached to him permanently.

Harris won't even manage to serve it out here imo. There's going to be no shock.

6-3 to Harris.

He played decent, but Federer made a lot of misses that you expect him to make.

Good work from Harris to save BP and then serve it out. He's done more against Fed in a set than most have done in the last 2 years here.

Zverev, Tsitsipas and Thiem. Next Gen doing tennis proud
Wouldn’t class Thiem as next gen. Hes 26 this year and atleast he’s beaten Djokovic at a slam. He’s just weak on the other slams.

That's putting it mildly - hasn't gotten past the second round apart from one season. He just cannot play on the baseline to save his life. It would've been a shock if Querrey lost to him.

Federer gets the break and consolidates and that's probably match over now.

Next Gen/next big hope. Thiem is still primarily just a one surface player and despite his talk of wanting to make an impact on other Slams, can't see where it comes from.

2 breaks in a row. I think he lost his focus after his first break. Harris is going to serve to open the 3rd set and that might help him recover a bit.

Federer is already having an extra km's of effort that will cost him later, though.

With the draw Federer has, he can play a 6 hour match here and still be fresh by the time he's in the final. It won't make a difference to him.

Pathetic by Wimbledon giving a waster like Tomic a wildcard. I could understand the Baghdatis decision.

Tomic just lost a best of five tennis match in 58 minutes.

And I think he was fined for entering and withdrawing citing injuries a couple of years ago.

Although that begs the question, who asked for/stood to gain from this? Tomic is a pariah even in Australia now.

Only saw the last 2 games, which was only errors and big 1st serves.
What was Federer's level otherwise?

Sugita had 3 break points to go a double break and 3-0 up and instead loses the set 6-3.

Berdych down 2 sets and 0-3 in the 3rd

This Wimbledon is turning into a bigger farce than 2017 USO.
Berdych last played at Indian Wells and has been struggling with injuries for 18 months. So it’s not really a surprise and Fritz is a decent player.

I put £1 on a 806/1 acca for 16 mens round 1 matches before the tournament. I now need Fognini, Mannarino and Pouille to win to see it through.

I can cash out for £75 at the moment..and I'm tempted as I don't trust any of them

classic Cilic. 4-0 up and then just barely wins the tiebreak in the end. regardless of that, both Nadal and Djokovic could have much kinder draw in the end.

If Nadal makes it past Nick I'd back him to make the semis but I just don't see how he wins vs Nick. It's the one who match that Nick will be absolutely fired up for.

again, typical Cilic. serving for set and then decides to fire every ball out of the court. wouldn't be surprised if he lose the set now.

Nadal served 11 aces today. If he keeps serving like this, he'll get to the semis.

Federer should be happy too.

Nadal not so much

Sharapova and Thiem already out. Nadal faces Kyrgios next. So that nightmare draw on paper could look better if Nadal beats Kyrgios.

I think Tsonga was and is a bigger threat in R3 than Shapovalov. Not sure who is in Thiem's quarter though apart from Querrey who beat him. At the moment I think it's still a very tricky draw but things can change.
