No thanks. Great player, legend, but time to move on.
Our whole team looked 'done' that year TBH... and Evra had been played without rest for absolutely years.he looked absolutely done in his last season ffs.
He started to struggle in his later years at United. In fact, many started to critisize him and stating he's not up to his previous level anymore. Now it's all romantics, but from a football point of view it doesnt make senseThis post makes a lot more sense than the reactionary "Brilliant idea" crew. If it was such a brilliant idea why did no-one at all suggest it before this rumour started?
I think we all have some great memories of Paddy, I don't want to see him get abuse from our fans for not being as good as he used to be. I think we all remember Gnev's shocker at West Brom, it was painful to watch and I'd struggle to think of a single fullback that played to a high level in the Prem at his age.
Agree with this would rather see CBJ given a chance. He started to struggle in his later years at United. In fact, many started to critisize him and stating he's not up to his previous level anymore. Now it's all romantics, but from a football point of view it doesnt make sense
I just love Patrice Evra.
OT baby! OT baby!
