Not fun being the new Theon - the one anto picks on.It is good to have Anto back.
Err... no. It was clearly a case of Tevezbola randomly blocking a second bunch of players, that's how it should be as the rules pointed to that.A miss in OP has been added: Tevezobola player returns for Quarter Finals and only misses Round 1. Same as RiOFL or Hargiriefs rule. Only one match miss.
Please note.
And again one from the very top of my short-listI don't want to ruin my team!

I'll take the monster of a defender, the one Maradona feared, who I rate very very highly.
@The Red Viper
Say, for quarter finals...One of your R1 playing 11 gets randomly blocked. Tevezobola becomes available for that round along with two replacements.Err... no. It was clearly a case of Tevezbola randomly blocking a second bunch of players, that's how it should be as the rules pointed to that.
I thought an interesting variation would have been flipping a coin for each player on each round and seeing whether the silly bugger decided to come back, just like Tevez ended up saving the day for City.
Once you start a draft you can't go around changing rules though, even if you meant them to be different. Just ask Theon, his first epic meltdown was as a game mod in similar circumstances.
AntohanHow predictable
Who did the draw?
This could be quite difficult to police. You'll have to be strict.Note 2:
For A1 advantage rule, it must be a clear WM or MW formations. 3-5-2 and 5-3-2 are not eligible.
Example:
Both. After drafts start you can make interpretations (e.g. clarify what a WM is in your mind) but not change rules, less so if you participate yourself (which was what really screwed Theon that one time as his change inadvertently ended up being to his benefit).Say, for quarter finals...One of your R1 playing 11 gets randomly blocked. Tevezobola becomes available for that round along with two replacements.
Are you syaing the amendment is not fair...or just in principle against any amendments as game has started?
I'll swap you for SlipperyGHow predictable
Who did the draw?
Well, You have a valid arguement. I should have posted that before. OK. I've rolled back the change in the OP. Tevezobola is gone forever.Both. After drafts start you can make interpretations (e.g. clarify what a WM is in your mind) but not change rules, less so if you participate yourself (which was what really screwed Theon that one time as his change inadvertently ended up being to his benefit).
It's a matter of principle and the best way to go about things to avoid raging discussions (e.g. every other draft people want to change the reinforcement rules half way through).
It's also unfair, indeed, as what you are saying now is that while my Ljungberg and Gerrard disasters are permanent Tevezbola won't be, and right now it really is a case of sink or swim for me and by the time Tevezbola comes 2-3 others will probably be on the same boat (unless I do get all the duds ). This change means any levelling of the playing field I can cross fingers and look forward to would only last a single round.
It's going to be a nightmare. Less so with these as 2 or 3 at the back is suicidal (I've proved it before!) but when you get into the nuances of what is a 3-5-2 or a 4-3-3... Particularly when tactically teams can be set up differently with and without the ball. This could be quite difficult to police. You'll have to be strict.
Yeah. Let's see how it goes. This could be quite difficult to police. You'll have to be strict.
Trippy, no screenshot, just a copy paste of the text on the screen which is fine as screenshots could be manufactured as well (just randomise enough times).Who did do the draw, and was a screen shot posted?
Seriously?Who did do the draw, and was a screen shot posted?
Just curious who did the draw - wasn't implying you did it - as it was certainly predictable!
If you'd hit Rio in the last draw, I'd be thrilled.
NEMANJA VIDIĆ
Haha. Would be ace if it happens but I am not too hopeful about it.If you'd hit Rio in the last draw, I'd be thrilled.
Somewhere in the distance i can hear Anto playing this:Wow, strangely enough Falcao crashed all my plans and now I need to rebuild the side in my head from the start.
Cnut, after telling me he wasn't at the same level so many times in a couple of recent drafts (decades and sheep)...
Senna?Needed a gun to cover Pirlo's lazy ass.
I wouldn't have played Pirlo in a 2 man midfield, or a 3 man with Hagi in front of them. A 3 man midfield with Senna being a DM, Bastian being the all round CM and Pirlo being the playmaker looks better to me.Senna?
He did play in the middle of a 4-4-2 in CL final iirc. Not sure. I was intenely hoping to avoid Pirlo this round for the same reason. Maybe with some wide midifelders you can try a 4-1-3-2.I wouldn't have played Pirlo in a 2 man midfield, or a 3 man with Hagi in front of them. Or it's just me being pragmatic as always.
Maybe, let's see. Depends on the forward randomizer. So a diamond it is @Aldo ? Intersting to see Senna in that role
I know, he's not as easy to fit as Neeskens or Falcao, for example. But well, I like the challenge. While on one hand he gives you a tactical headache he also provides a standout quality in the team which he specializes and can't be bettered by many. It's a shame I came so close to Keane, Scholes, Falcao and Breitner though. He did play in the middle of a 4-4-2 in CL final iirc. Not sure.
